Great Stay

Our family had a wonderful stay and plan to come back next year! The house was perfect and outside we had days and days of snow play. We made the best snowman on the block. Our grandchildren made snow memories that they will never forget. Village and shuttle was an added bonus to our trip.

Wonderful house and location!

We had a wonderful time staying here. Great location with access to the shuttle going to and from the Northstar ski resort (the Northstar village is just a 20 min walk away too). The house had everything we needed and our kids loved the bunk beds and the foosball table :) We hope to stay here again!

Would come back!

We enjoyed our stay and would love to come again. Listing was accurate. House was very clean. We loved the use of the shuttle to Northstar, it was easy to use. TV worked great and it was great that they had games and toys there even though we brought our own. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed for cooking. Host was great at answering my questions. I completely recommend this property. We were a family with mom, dad and 6 kids ranging from age 20-8.

Our favorite part was convenient shuttle that takes you to the base. So quick and easy! Kitchen was also stocked with all the basics.

Perfect for families

The location of the house far exceeded my expectations. It’s in a beautiful resort community in North Star right by the Ritz. The kids very much enjoyed the pool and arcade, and had fun taking the free shuttle to get there. Rec center is $10 per guest per day, so I thought it would be $90 for our whole group, but under 5 was free and adults not swimming were graciously not charged so it came out to less. The boys loved the bunk bed, and we noticed there was even a trundle, although we didn’t need it. House was the perfect size for two families. We took the free gondola to the top of the Ritz on the last day, which I highly recommend. Gorgeous views. Lake Tahoe is a short drive away, and so is downtown Truckee. I hope to be able to stay again in winter because the shuttle takes you to Northstar village, which was mostly closed in summer, but looks like it would be a blast in the winter. Donna, the host, was so quick to respond to questions before we arrived. Kitchen is well stocked with the basics, including olive oil, but remember to bring butter.

Just wonderful!

Our stay at this property couldn’t have been better. It was our family of five plus two boyfriends, and we all fit very comfortably. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking big meals and the dining table was big enough for our large group. The shuttle to town and slopes was super-convenient. The place was lovely but not too fussy felt right at home. All communication was easy. Highly recommended!

Great Location

This a nice property for hosting a small group 8-10 visiting the Tahoe are for one the many year round attractions in the area. This was perfect for our group during a golf event at Northstar. The host was super responsive and accommodating.of our needs.

Tahoe get away

The house was good and in a great location! ! Maybe manager needs to talk to the housekeepers as we found trash and old socks under the couch! Also, it would have been nice to have TVs in more than the family room and one room upstairs as the living room was a bit small for us all to hangout in! Side note, my son had brought his xbox to connect but could not do so because the TVs would not allow the HDMI connection as they might have been older model! Only other comment, we had brought food and there really was not anywhere to store as all of the cabinets were full! But other than that, the house was cute, overall clean!

Snow Adventure

We gathered with our adult children at this wonderful cabin for a week to celebrate the new year! In spite of an incredible snow storm, making arrival a challenge from all directions, we had the most incredible time! The house was comfortable and well equipped and Donna was helpful throughout. I would highly recommend this lovely vacation home.

Great place to stay

Loved the location. Home was well stocked. Recreation facilities were wonderful and in an amazingly beautiful setting. Comfortable accommodations except for staying cool. No A/C and limited fans. Was quite warm some evenings.

Beautiful Cabin!

Cabin was so comfortable and beautifully decorated. Felt very homey. The only thing missing was air conditioning but I know that there typically is no need for it.

Perfect Northstar House

Our family had an amazing experience at this property. The house was clean, updated, and beautifully furnished/decorated. The deck was fantastic for relaxing and BBQing. The neighborhood was quiet and just a short walk to Northstar village. Plenty of things to do very nearby- hiking trails, golfing, biking, Kings Beach; also comes with access to a beautiful pool and gym. We can’t wait to come back!

Everything was great. Just would have hoped that they had turned on the heat before we arrived (with Nest it’s easy) so that we didn’t have to arrive at mid jght with kids in a freezing house.

Great cabin with plenty of space for all

Wonderful cabin with plenty of space for my family. There were 8 of us total - 4 adults and 4 kids aged 5-15. We enjoyed the easy shuttle pick up to get to the village. We used the kitchen a bunch to make easy meals and enjoyed lounging on the couch. The cabin was stocked with plenty of games to play as well - perfect for our family get together. Donna was quick to help us with any issues we had - the key code to get inside, fireplace info. We would definitely rent this condo again!
