Terrible check in. Was given an occupied room twice causing a guest to be very startled. No amenities, no USB , put me in a room next to Laundry Room where noise was all night constantly and people coming in and out of the room throughout the night I would like to request a full refund for this awful stay

Decent Knitesbridge stay.

Nice comfortable hotel with free parking in knitesbridge after 18.30-08.30. Nice breakfast. No defaf options in the toom!

Ok for two nights

Hotel was near tube and Albert hall. Breakfast was good. Lift broken and room in second floor so lots of stairs. Decor a bit tired. Beds very very firm!

Staying here for work 3 nights a week for the next 6 months. Great service, extremely clean and comfortable. Able to drop off suitcase early and pick up after check out. Thrilled to get this location and nice hotel within my weekly budget.

Great basic find

This hotel is in an excellent location- almost diagonally opposite Gloucester Rd tube, many restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Small Waitrose by the station and bigger Sainsbury's approx 10min walk. Although it is situated on a busy junction our room was in the back and on basement floor. We heard no traffic noise at all. There was a window but with us being below street level it wasnt much of a view but they had tried by putting ? fake trees outside. The room was surprisingly not dark and dingy. Was the room clean- it was ok. There were hairs on the bathroom door and the ventilator fan was filthy. However, the beds were spotless, bathroom was clean (other than the hairs) and the surfaces were dust free. Our room was fine for what we wanted. It had a double and a single bed which were comfortable, a fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, safe and TV and was surprisingly large. The bathroom and room decoration were tired but everyhting worked and we weren't paying Ritz prices so didnt expect the Ritz. What made up for any of the above shortcomings was the reception staff (think it may have been the manager) and the breakfast. The man who checked us in and out, and rudely I cant remember his name but he had two sons aged 10 and 4, completed the process addressing my 9yr old granddaughter which made her feel very very important. Breakfast was fantastic. Continental (if B&B) with the option to upgrade for hot food. Everything was so fresh and tasty. Great hotel

Run down and not great.

Looks nice from the outside. Inside was run down. Broken tiles in the bathroom, dodgy loo roll holder that was broken. All a bit grotty.
