Nice place, clean, comfy, very friendly staff. The room wasn’t huge, but good enough for my purposes. Great value for the location. Great Indian restaurant attached., and very central, next to Gloucester road tube, museums etc Will be using again.

Room in poor condition. Light fittings damaged, carpet and curtains very worn. Window wouldn't open and room was hot. Lack of security, strange man sitting in foyer intentionally followed me to room after hearing my room details given out at front desk.

As 2 young female travelers we felt safe and the neighborhood was vibrant. The tube was across the street which made getting around a breeze. Nice toiletries in the bathroom and good front desk service

I was in London for a weekend catch up with friends and wanted a decent, reasonable value hotel in the Gloucester Road area. The Montana fully delivered. Pleasant staff on reception, comfortable bed, surprisingly quiet room considering it faced onto Gloucester Road.

Great location, average hotel

I stayed in the Montana hotel with my daughter for 3 nights. We were given a room in the basement of the hotel, which wasn't very welcoming. The basement was a bit tatty and smelly. The room was very dusty around the skirting boards and behind units. Being in the basement, we didn't have a view from the window as it looked out onto a small courtyard, but we didn't mind this so much, it did make the room a bit dark though, even with the window. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, across the road from Gloucester Road tube station. There are bikes to hire nearby, we cycled around Kensington at 1am when it was nice and quiet which was great fun. If I were to stay here again, I'd want reassurance that I wouldn't be in the basement.

Location is great close to tube station Room was spacious and bed sas comfortable but bath and toilet were a bit clogged. Breakfast was dissappointing, its just bread (dry) cheese ham and fruits, i was expecting more selection..

Our stay was great the hotel was as described, clean, tidy and the staff were polite and well presented. The lift was tiny and you would struggle to get a wheelchair in but overall it was worth the money

Comparing others in the same area, I was shocked with low hygiene level - hair on bed and tub for instance. I only stayed for an hour and left. They are far out of date and must refurbish soon.

The hotel is located in a great area--safe, extremely convenient for all types of transport, major attractions close by, lots of dining options. Excellent Indian restaurant on site. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The property is not a fresh, new hotel, but has it's charms and is very clean.

I would not stay here again. We booked a double room for one night. When we got there, all the double rooms were taken, even though we booked well in advance. They stuck us in the basement with a bunch of small beds. Weird smell, not clean. The energy just wasn’t good, and the staff really had nothing to say on why they overbooked the rooms and had to stick us in the basement.
