Zero stars if I could. Horrific experience. I don’t even know where to begin. This was by far the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had in my life. The beds felt like stone slabs and the duvet covers were absolutely disgusting—filthy with brown stains that looked like they hadn't been washed in months. There was no air conditioning, so we had no choice but to sleep with the window open. That turned into a nightmare when we were jolted awake in pure terror by someone coming through our window. It wasn’t a burglar—it was the hotel’s cleaning crew. Yes, they were using our window in our room to fold laundry on. As if that wasn’t disturbing enough, they were also dropping heavy laundry bags from the top floor down to the ground outside our window, some 50 feet up. The sound was deafening and terrifying. We asked them repeatedly to stop. They didn’t. I went to the front desk and was assured it wouldn’t happen again—but sure enough, it did the very next morning. To make matters worse, we saw cleaning staff sleeping on freshly cleaned towels—yes, the same towels meant for guests. Everywhere we looked, there were bugs crawling around, and we even saw rats running by. The shower temperature changed from ice cold to scalding hot on its own, with zero warning. I cannot believe this place is legally allowed to operate. Save yourself the stress, discomfort, and horror—do not stay here.

Fab location 5 mins walk from Paddington and a great base to get walking or public transport around London. Rooms were clean and comfortable and staff always on hand and helpful. Had one room on level 1 which was fab and a room in the basement which had a terrible smell so would recommended the first room but not the latter.

Overall happy with stay

Happy with stay. Only downside was how warm the bedroom was. They did have a fan in the bedroom which we had to have on dat or night. Love how close hotel was to the underground. Staff pleasant and helpful

For 3 people, the room was extremely tiny. We had to knock to indicate we were exiting the bathroom. No A/C. Two fans provided. Not many options to plug in and they were blowing hot air. Horrible sleep on the mattresses and the bed moved when sitting up. Small gap that we could fall through. Tiny elevator and narrow hallway to exit with your luggage. Would never stay here again.

Staying just out of town.

Tea and coffee facilities are available in the took. The beds were clean and comfortable and the bathroom was well maintained and clean too. Just around the corner is Paddington station and lots of places to grab breakfast or lunch.

Smelly stuffy room!

The beds were comfortable, shower nice and and room was spacious but there was a horrible smell coming from the bathroom drains like cat urine. The room was very stuffy as no air con and the fans provided were coated in dust. We spied a rat in the street outside. The lift was tiny and didn’t feel very safe. Great location though, although very noisy at night with the traffic.

Good stay for the price

Decent stay, easy walk from Paddington station. Was able to check in early. Our room was street level and at the front of the hotel which was pretty noisy in July when you need the windows open to keep cool. There was a fan in the room which was quite a nice surprise!

Tired but serviceable

Location is good close to Paddington station. I don’t know how other rooms compared but mine was in the basement and needed attention on decor. It had a tiny shower cubicle with a great big overhead shower head. The floor moved and light got in all night from a light permanently on in the hallway through a small window with a net curtain. It looked like the room had had damp problems too, lumpy walls that had been painted over. Staff were fine on the check-in desk.

This property is within easy walking distance of Paddington station. We were able to leave our bags in the lobby early in the morning, before our room was ready, on our day of arrival and after check-out on the day of departure, which was very convenient. It was next to the lift, so we expected it to be noisy, but the soundproofing was very good. There were no breakfast facilities, which was fine for us, and it completely served our purposes, we'd definitely stay here again

HOtel bien situé pour hop on- hop bus , metro etc. Belle chambre mais ce qui est terrible ce sont les rats qui courent devant l'hotel. Terrifiant !!! Bien dommage.

Well located

Very small room but as advertised just dont think i understood quite how small it would be. Well located. Bed ok. Shower was very grubby with stains on bottom. Bathroom smelt incredibly damp and musty. Only one towel each. Room far too warm and no ac so had to have window open all night. Being beside lift was a little noisy. Staff friendly and left luggage facility.

Not much to be done as this area’s hotels are all smaller & old fashioned…so no AC, which was tough for sleeping. However its proximity to Paddington (and thus the Heathrow express) helps make up for the rest.
