Nice enough but overpriced.

It was comfortable for a one night stay after a night out nearby. Our 1st floor room overlooked the street but was quiet post-11pm when we returned to the room. Tea/coffee and ironing amenities are in a shared area on each floor, there’s no robe/slippers provided and the shower/WC set up is unusual so best to avoid if you prefer a traditional vibe. Buffet breakfast has an okay selection but overpriced at £15pp. The whole vibe is essentially the bones of a budget chain in a great location, with some stylish/kooky touches and a decent bar. Look elsewhere if you’re just after a place to sleep & value for money.

Enjoyable stay

Lovely, quirky room. Everything was nice and clean and the bed was comfy. Hotel is located minutes from Waterloo station and their a plenty of shops and restaurants in the area.

Uber vibe inside but no Uber access in the street.

Quirky boutique hotel. A bit goth, a bit nightclubby, bedrooms ok, modern minimalist but nothing special. Staff very friendly. One world of caution -Uber cabs won’t pickup or deliver to the hotel front entrance. The street outside has limited vehicle access depending on the time of day but we had 3 Ubers cancel the booking as soon as they realised the screen had cameras. We were dressed in full length ball gown and had to leg it 400 yards in high heels to meet a black cab. Because of this we won’t be using this hotel again.

London trip for my daughter's 18th birthday. Great access from waterloo station and a short hop to theatres. Friendly staff, quirky decor, delicious breakfast choices. We ended up being able to check in early (we had wanted to just dump out suitcases) before heading to our matinée. Galley style beverage area and terraces to people watch from were great.

Issues with lighting in the bathroom.Could only have light on in bathroom if the room light was on Not good if you need to use bathroom in the night as I did. No information re operation of lights. Ridiculously small sink in the bathroom Good bar area.

Not bad, good location, some small issues

Overall the hotel was fine but a couple of things let it down slightly. The rooms are quite a bit more basic than you would think from looking at the photos but the main issue is that the shower and sink are effectively ‘in’ the room. No issue with this until the upstairs room runs their sink or shower and you can hear the water flowing and hitting their floor (your ceiling). That meant we were wide awake from the moment the room above us got up!
