Meliá hotels definitely my favorite. I stayed for fist time at the one in front of the airport of Barajas, Madrid, Meliá Barajas and I just loved it. I’ll come back next time I’m in Madrid. Everything about the hotel is perfect, the pool, the breakfast, the quietness around the installations, the staff. Perfect for a relaxing stay by yourself or with family.

Loved the room, very comfortable bed. The one thing that I did not like was the high sided bathtub shower and swinging glass partition. Would have preferred a walkin shower. Felt a little dangerous. The bar and dining room were wonderful- good drinks and delicious food.

Kind and helpful staff, easy airport transfer, tasty restaurant on site. Comfortable room and bed. Elevators are small, and some fixtures in the bathroom were a bit worn, but all usable.

Pool area is really nice. Convenient location with free shuttle to airport. Hallways need to be renovated. Lobby and bar are nice, good food and drinks, but when it got busy service suffered. Good value overall for the price.
