The condo was perfect. The only problem was the parking attendant, he made us pay 100.00 for two days of parking. I realize he is not part of the Amos rental property but he is a downright scammer. Be cautious. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials.

Relax after a cruise

We enjoyed two nights at the Tides. It is a nice place to stay. The location is great. Check-in is a little abrupt. The personnel are in a hurry and assume you have been there before. Ask all of your questions then. Lots of local places to eat. $5.00 Uber or 2 mile walk.

Great Option for Beach Condo

Our family of four enjoyed our stay at the Condo. The condo was nicely updated and the pictures presented in the listing were accurate. Beach access was superb and the pools were well-maintained and very inviting. Overall, the condo was well-equipped with pots/pans/glassware, etc. The other residents seemed to be family-oriented as well, which meant relative quiet in the building and a relaxing pool and beach scene. That was certainly to our liking. We would definitely stay again. Note two things that some have commented about the Tides. The check-in process is actually really straightforward. The do ask for a fee for the key fob, so build that into your costs (ours was $30 per adult). The use of the service elevator for hauling stuff is due mostly to weight restrictions on the regular elevators. As it works, regular and service elevators are located next to each other, so folks generally took whatever was available first. Overall, easy and pleasant.

Upscale Decor With Stunning Ocean View

My wife and I stayed in the apartment for three nights in September 2022 and really enjoyed our stay. We have lodged at the Tides maybe six or seven times (in different appartments) over the past three years or so and this one had the best ocean view of all of them. I noticed some of the other reviewers took issue with the supplies and amenities, but we found everthing from bath and beach towels, pots and pans, dishwasher pods, etc. to be more than adaquate. I'm not really sure how anyone could reasonably find any issues with this place. It was perfect for us. The aparment has two bedrooms (which we didn't really need), but the price was comparable with one bedroom units when we booked so we went for it. With four or more people you might need the second bedroom and the addition of another half bath would be a bigh plus too.

The condo was excellent. 2 Bed 1.5 Bath, large kitchen and living room, tile throughout and absolutely spotless. Balcony had a direct ocean view from 11th floor, beautiful. The entire community is used to accommodating short and long term guests and staff members are very efficient. Affordable condo in a great location. We would definitely stay here again.

Great apartment and location! Definitely would book this again!

Overall had a great experience during my stay. Location is awesome, with pool and a couple of steps right into the beach. Convenience stores nearby. You do have to check-in and get your FOB early the next day but process was smooth. No issues at all. Definitely recommend it!!

Nice property

Check in was confusing. They say they will charge you a key fib for every 2 adults. However it's one key fob every 2 people. So be prepared 2 buy 2. You also get charged $20 deposit for parking tag. However you won't get that back I'd you have an earlier flight. The receiving office opens at 9. Also if your going to do laundry you are required to buy a laundry card. Which I was not told about. You also only get 2 bath towels. Not enough for 4 people. If there was a towel exchange no one told us. The only other thing I am going to complain about is the lack of seating around the pool. Also they charge you for lounge chairs and umbrella at the beach. The condo does have 2 beach chairs available for you to use. Stray cats hang around the building as well. Over all it was a nice place. Just not good communication.

Lacking in Amenities

The condo unit itself was clean and tidy however, there were some things missing that I would typically expect to see when renting on VRBO. There were no hand towels or soap in the bathrooms. As well as no coffee, salt/pepper, etc. Only one dish washer pod so a lot of hand washing on dishes. Only one pan for cooking as well. If these are things that do not bother you while on vacation this place will do just fine. Also, very slow response from the owner (not the property manager) when reaching out to ask quesitons regarding the stay.

Great Location on Hollywood Beach

Property manager was attentive. The condo was clean with a great view of the ocean. Only disappointment was the pool closes at 6pm. This was allegedly due to COVID, yet, all other neighboring condos and hotel pools were open at least until 10pm. Outside of that the condo is spacious and clean.

Relaxing Getaway With A Great View

Loved the property. Quiet with a great view from the balcony. Beds were very comfortable. Space is great for a family of four. The only negative was the sparse household items like trash bags, dishwasher pods, paper products, etc. We enjoyed our stay though and would definetely stay again.

Overall very happy with stay!

Property has been nicely updated with modern decor. Great location, steps from the beach. Smart TVs in every room are wonderful. Bathrooms have been nicely done. Gorgeous view. Kitchen was not well stocked if you are preparing meals (as we did due to the pandemic). Needs baking dish, baking sheet, non stick pan, trash bags, paper towels, measuring spoons, salt, pepper, and oil. Pool/beach towels are old bath towels that aren’t large enough for adults. Only 2 beach chairs provided. Beach umbrella base appears broken (we did not try to use it though). Watch your head on the dining room light fixture. It looks like guests before us have run into it as two of the bulbs are gone/bent. Don’t open the sliding door too far; it sticks badly. Check in at the building is convoluted, but since we have stayed there before, we knew this already. Previously, a laundry card has been left for us, but we had to purchase our own for $5. We really enjoyed our stay and with just a small investment in kitchen and beach supplies, it would be 5 stars!
