DO NOT BOOK HERE. per locals, this was used as a homeless shelter after a hurricane. It has not been converted back to a nice hotel. There are still homeless, prostitutes, addicts and dealers ALL over. Our room was filthy. We were told by the front desk to make sure we didn’t keep any items in the bed of our truck bc someone would steal it. The photos on the app are NOT what the place actually looks like. We had people yelling and banging on doors at all hours. Smelled of cigarettes and weeds throughout as well as inside. We booked a week here trying to save some money for activities and I left barely 48hrs in. The front desk said “we won’t fight you” when I said I was cancelling and requesting a refund for the remainder of the stay. They know. While staff were were really friendly, that definitely didn’t make up for everything else. The def is NO pool. And again, when we told locals where we were staying, they said “oh no! Get out now. That place is no good”.
