Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Our room was covered with dust the surfaces had not been wiped down in a long time. I struggled into the hotel up the stairs with some of our cases while my husband paid our taxi all the time being watched struggling into the lobby by a tall young male who worked at the hotel. No help & when I pointed out that he should have been helping me he just walked off. The so called welcome drinks were limited and the cocktail was a pre made one and again the lady serving was disinterested and rude.
We did meet one pleasant person the lady who checked us in. We booked 2 nights despite leaving after 1 night , we just didn’t want to ask for a late checkout. Left the hotel at 6 pm but still we were charged over $50 for each night.
No atmosphere, food I saw someone served looked awful. Not sure how this hotel is newly refurbed because it was ok but maybe not the best of finishes. Also the safe was sat under the bar in the room with no way to open the safe. When I pointed this out I was told I should have asked them to move it. Clearly that’s where there safe is positioned & I was not about to alert a hotel we needed a safe , this hotel was shabby at best poorly run for sure
