The Holiday Inn Aruba was an excellent experience. Great location. Several shopping and eating spots literally right across the street. They also had excellent dining options on property. We did the all inclusive option so we ate on property every meal. Great Breakfast buffet, 2 lunch restaurants, one very informal the other was informal also but a little more upscale. Both within steps of the Carribean Sea, and great views. 3 Dinner restaurants, the Mexican and Italian rotate evenings they are open. The Sea Breeze was open everyday. Both pools are within steps of the beach. Staff was great and friendly. The only downside is shade is limited and it costs to rent a playa or beach umbrella. We walked the beach and this looked to be the norm for all the hotels in the area.

The resort as a whole was very nice, convenient access to the beach although cabanas were booked weeks in advance. Beach umbrellas with lounge chairs were readily available at $40 per umbrella per day; make sure you leave your towel to mark or folks may try to inhabit your space. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly; special kudos to Felipe and Veronica who went out of their way to accommodate our group of 10 every morning for breakfast. Maxi was very helpful at the Sea Breeze; where my wife’s birthday celebration is was held and Diana was always great when we’d be having lunch as a group. Also, again for Felipe suggesting we attend Carnival downtown; it was our first morning but the last day of celebrations (we wouldn’t have known and probably missed the festivities without his suggestion). Eugene (Gene) was awesome as well. Sorry I forgot the name of the gentleman at entertainment coordination center but he really came through when I asked about birthday balloons; I only recall his wife and mine share the same name. There are several shops on campus. Shopping and dining off facility was very good too; just a simple walk across the street. I would have rated the entire experience a 5, but the room was nice and comfortable but could have used some updating. Otherwise, our entire group enjoyed their stay and a few even “scored” well at the onsite casino.

Great location for a small family or a larger party. Plenty of square footage to spread out or group together. We did all inclusive and the food was excellent. We dined 3x a day which makes the cost totally worth it. We are looking forward to our next stay!!!

Great location. Pools & beach access is wonderful. Outdoor restaurants are nice. Corals for breakfast is a 10. Incredible staff doing everything in their power to make sure you have what you need. Breakfast-Brunch options are endless. What was disappointing is I did an all inclusive week with my kids and I could not get a reservation to Da Vincis. They are only opened limited days and were fully booked. I tried booking right away and could not get a reservation. Very disappointing. The rooms are dated but ok. The bathroom shower could use some updating. Also, we had a non working blow dryer. Did not ruin the week at all but just annoying.

If you comparing between this property with any of the property in Cancun, then don’t waist your time and money. Go to Cuncun or Punta Cana. Property are old and need full updating ( remodeling ), food are limited, the water in the ocian very nice and clean, but it is not what I am looking for.

Property is bit old and strongly suggest management to keep the rooms tidy and make sure the sofa bed is clean and covered. Also sea side building is huge negative. There is a pub right beside and loud music is audible until 2 am. We had to change the room to other building and then the beds were a issue. After some struggle, issues got addressed, however but inconvenient at the beginning.

Upon arrival the Hotel wanted to offer my family and I one King bed for 4 adults. The All-inclusive package was only a partial food and partial drink package. This is NOT an all inclusive hotel as it is listed as one. The hotel is next to a NIGHT CLUB that is blasting music until 2am. Expect ZERO sleep. Reservations for dinner was never explained to us and being all inclusive had to go elsewhere for Dinner several nights as everything was full as NOT all restaurants are open every night. You have to RENT shade to be able to sit on the beach as if you do not receive this as part of a package. You must reserve and pay for hut or umbrella to be comfortable but many days in advance and still not a guarantee that you will have that reservation. Very unsatisfied and will never go back to the Holiday Inn
