The room was extremely musty smelling. Walls are paper thin. You hear EVERYTHING outside like it’s in your room. Staff was very unaccomadating. We attempted to call about the odor and were sent to a voicemail and the call was not returned. We tried to see about extending our stay in a different room, however we were advised extending would need to be done through the reservations department. We called reservations and received a voicemail that said they were closed on Sundays. There did seem to be plenty of rooms available online but we were advised we would have to check out and at 10am and wait till after 4pm to check back in. We took out business down the street to Sheraton who was happy to let us check in early for a small fee. We won’t be staying here again.

Mystic Dunes was a great place to stay for our week-long trip to Orlando. The staff here are top notch. Everyone was very friendly and very attentive. While our room wasn't updated as shown in the photos, it was still clean and had the same amenities listed. Multiple pool options, very walkable resort property. Not far from Disney. We would stay here again

Honestly I cannot say enough good things about this place. We booked a two room with balcony and the size of our unit was HUGE! Big living/dining area, nice kitchen and the master bedroom had a large on suite bathroom. It was perfect for our family of 4 and to have laundry in unit was a major advantage. Everything was updated and modern. There are a few buildings on the property that are not renovated but for the most part they are mostly all renovated. Major pluses: Quiet, updated, large space, many amenities to do on site with 4 pools, mini golf, a restaurant, golf and kids activities each day, staff very friendly and check in process was easy. Negatives: You will need a car (or golf cart) to get around all of the property as it’s quite large, the golf course isn’t the best, and if you stay in a room backing onto the golf course you will hear lawn maintenance crews working as early as 6am. Also there were $100 in extra service fees added to the cost that I was unaware of upon check-in, but this did include the parking fees. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would definitely return!!

Property was showing its age. Website pictures are much nicer than actual room. It seemed I was given a subpar room because I wasn’t there for a timeshare presentation. Wont use this property when we come back to Orlando later this year.
