It is different but in a good way very clean ,no sad faces always smiling awesome atmosphere traffic was busy after first night did not notice next door too shopping centre 10 mins walk from Bangla Rd .

Room description is misleading

The room does bothave a separate seating area and the room size is exaggerated with incorrect photos of the room. The hotel is near the main shopping center mall, but also next to the boxing stadium which can get noisy at nights.

The hotel is well located beside a big store, however it is situated inside and above a restaurant. The corridor of the hotel is dim and room lights are not bright. Budget hotel but can get a better hotel w the same price

Bad location, bad room, staff needs training

At first i wasnt sure if i was gong to be able to book the room. I didnt go throught expedia so i asked the front desk clerk about room availability. She said they were booked...bs. So then i looked up in expedia and booked thw room .. which came out to be more!!! Got to my room which was a smoking room...asked to change rooms...nope! Tried the shower...trickled and did not drain. Tried the toilet....It barely flushed! Terroble experience! Never do reviews btw. Had to on this one!

Nice hotel close to beach good value for money

Always clean and good value , food needs to come up a notch quite expensive compared to outside restaurants .. room charge for extra person 500 baht a bit much considering there was no charge last time ... security good and friendly staff

Stayed at worse but not by much

On a busy street w loud motorbikes roaring by at 6am, the bed was hard as a wooden plank. The jacuzzi tub was great, but there was no wall handle for the shower attachment, so you have to do a one hand rinse. Front desk staff was unhelpful, uncaring. Couldn't even be bothered to break a large bill so I could pay the taxi. Had to go around the corner to a fast food stand. I will never go back.

Tiger Hotel

Great location close to everything. A few blocks away from Bangla Walking street and Patong Beach. Restaurant has a lot of seafood! Continental breakfast is meh, but it was included so we ate it anyways. Rooms are spacious and clean. The lighting is a little dim in the bathroom. The only issue we had was the tub shower drained water all over the bathroom floor (it was a design flaw), there is a drain on the floor so Im assuming they know about it.

Our first trip to Thailand & glad we chose The Tiger Hotel. The staff were very helpful & friendly,especially the ladies on reception. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The rooms were spacious & clean but could do with a bit of TLC. The hotel is situated on a busy road opposite the night market,so it's ideal for people watching,the noise isn't off putting,as you get used to this if you are staying in Patong. The seafood restaurant downstairs serves good food & is very popular as it is always full every evening. We tried various dishes & were delighted with what was served,reasonably priced too. We will definitely stay at Tiger again when we visit Thailand.

Great hotel. Best staff ever.

Great hotel and great location. The hotel staff rocks. Lisa, Andre and my girl Rata were so wonderful. What ever we needed they were more then happy to help you with. We booked directly with the hotel front desk staff for all of our daily excursions, much easier then going through a agent/booth. Getting laundry clean was so reasonable and done quickly. Hotel is not for the type of people that are looking for that quiet getaway, It's busy all the time around there, One minute walk to the mall, great live fresh caught seafood right in front of the hotel, Night street food right across the street, Patong beach ten minute walk, and everyone needs to checkout Bangla road at night its a different world. Staff again were the best, Definitely be back.
