We didn't use the laundry room and didn't have a kitchen. Was disappointed in the breakfast they should have said they only serve bagels, coffee and juice not breakfast.

Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Bed was too firm. My wife was uncomfortable and did not sleep well. Room was spacious but quite dark and could stand updating. Toilet is old and flushed poorly, requiring several flushes to “come clean”.

The carpet in Room 95 needs to be shampooed. There was this overwhelming smell of dirty socks in that room. I had to leave the window wide open all night long so It could reduce the odor. Unfortunately the water in that room was also lukewarm at best. Not hot for shower. I had stayed at this place before and had not dealt with these problems.

The housekeeping people were friendly, helpful, and kind. The room was clean. When the housekeepers, I think her name was Christy, knocked on the door and asked me if I needed anything. I told her that I was going to be leaving in about half an hour if she wanted to take care of the room, even though there was nothing much to do in there. She asked me if there was anything specific I wanted done. She was very sweet to my little grandson. We talked for a minute in the doorway and he ran out the door to hug her, so she gave him a hug. Thought that was very sweet.

I’ve stayed 3 nights here in 3 different rooms. All the rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. All the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. The rooms are not necessarily newly renovated but very well maintained and clean. Think ‘cozy cabin’ more than Ritz-Carlton. 2 rooms were standard hotel sized double queens with all your typical amenities. 1 room was single queen, very large with a full kitchen (full size fridge, stove, etc.). There was plenty of free parking. The pool was open in early fall. It was warm and clean. I’ll definitely stay again when life brings me to Poulsbo.
