We really enjoyed staying at this hotel, except for the position of the room! We were offered the 8th or the 11th floor at check in and opted for the 11th, thinking about the views….. That was the wrong decision as we were next to the gym and roof terrace. It was really quiet until very late when some people decided they wanted to find the terrace and bounced around the corridors, shouting, whistling and even singing, seemingly oblivious to the fact that there are bedrooms on this floor too and that the gym was closed. So my advice is to avoid the 11th floor! Other than that, the hotel is lovely, the room clean and the staff at reception were really helpful and friendly. The hotel is in an amazing position for visiting the old town, with plenty restaurants, shops and bars surrounding it.

This was a repeat stay for us, having had a wonderful experience last time we stayed at Melia Plaza. On this visit however, neither my husband or I could sleep due to an ongoing, loud, reverberating, wooshing noise coming from above. Sounded like it might have been due to an air conditioning unit on a rooftop or something of the sort. Hard to tell whether it stemmed from the poroperty or a neighboring building, but either way we could not sleep as a direct result. The hotel staff attempted to be accommodating and did move us to another room The disruptive sound diminished to come up wasbut we could still hear the noise to some degree period despite the staff's attempt to rectify the problem we enforcing will not be staying at the property again unless this issue is fixed all together his truly unfortunate

I would give this hotel 8/10 stars. When we arrived, Raul at the front desk, was extremely kind and helpful! Once we walked into to our room, we notice a an odd smell. Shortly after, we noticed that the air-conditioning did not work. And it was extremely warm in the room. we mentioned this to the front desk to a gentleman who had green eyes and platinum/grey hair (not Raul) and he seen bothered that we even approached him about the situation. The next day, when checking out the same gentleman helped a couple that was standing in line behind us. A couple behind us even mention that we were first in line to check out and he proceeded to say that it was OK that he would help them first. Overall, the property is very clean and in an overall good location! I would probably stay here again if it was my last resort given that the AC didn’t work in the room had a weird smell

Excellent location. We paid a little more for a balcony plaza view, but it was excellent. It can be a little noisy for sleep, but we use a white noise app so had no issues. Would stay here again.

The hotel is lovely. Breakfast is good, although it could be better. The service was spectacular, with very friendly and welcoming staff. Location is great; walkable to main sites in the old town area. Modern Valencia with Science and Art Museums was a taxi ride of less than 20 euros.
