My family stayed at the AC Hotel Midtown Atlanta for two nights over the weekend, and unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectations. I booked the room through Expedia and made special requests for a crib for my infant, a bathtub, and a microwave. The day before arrival, I called to confirm these requests, but was told the hotel hadn't received all the necessary information from Expedia. I was assured that the requests were noted and would be taken care of. However, upon check-in, there was neither a crib nor a bathtub, which was incredibly disappointing. Our room wasn’t cleaned the next day. When we asked about this, we were told we should have requested cleaning in advance, which seems unreasonable, especially for a 2-night stay. While parking was expensive at $38/night, the payment process was poorly managed. We were double charged for parking on both my husband's and my card. Despite emailing the provided address to resolve the issue, I’ve yet to receive a response. Overall, I cannot recommend AC Hotel Midtown Atlanta to others. The lack of attention to detail, poor customer service, and mishandling of basic requests made our stay unpleasant.

Beautiful facility and very nice staff. Just a few small things that could have been better. Not all of the tv channels could be accessed. I was going to use some of their complimentary body lotion but the bottle had already been used and was empty. I paid for parking with in and out privileges. When I left to go to breakfast this morning and came back there was no way to use my card to let them know I was entering the garage again. When I checked out and was trying to exit the garage it said I had left and not returned. Make it clear to your guests how they need to do this to avoid an issue when trying to leave.

Everything was nice and clean and the staff were all really polite. I have only two complaints. There was a $200 dollar "incidentals" fee that was added on top of the regular charge that popped up on my credit card when i checked in. I got credit back at the end but they really should give somebody a head's up about that! That and there was no microwave. Seems like something that should be standard to me.

Would Recommend

We ended up booking this hotel at the last minute after our previous hotel reservation was unknowingly cancelled. Everyone was so friendly and professional. The room was very comfortable for 3 people. King bed was amazing and the pull out couch was clean and comfy. My only complaint would be that the tv in our room never worked but the young guy that was at the front desk when we checked out, signed me up for the Marriot member program and credited me some points for the inconvenience. It was such a refreshing experience after dealing with the situation at my initial hotel. Would definitely return and recommend to anyone staying in ATL.

The AC Hotel by Marriott was very helpful when I needed to make a reservation late at night on short notice due to a cancelled flight. They even called for a ride the next morning to pick me up and take me back to the airport. Very thankful!
