"We had a fairly pleasant stay at Valamar Argosy. We booked the basic room which did not have a balcony although some of the photos showed it might. The entrance to the room faced the lobby opening which made the room slightly noisy. In the evening, you could hear everything from the bar that was in the lobby. Late checkout was not possible but we could still use the facilities on the last day. Otherwise it was nice: the hotel shares a very pretty pebble beach with the next door hotel President. Breakfast had a lot of variety and was tasty. I would wish they did something about the vast amount of bees on the restaurant terrace. We booked some activities through the concierge service, the man working there was very kind and helpful. We had a great time on our morning seaside safari trip."

"Erinomainen aamiainen, lähes Kempinskin vertainen. Rauhallinen tunnelma kauttaaltaan. Hotelli menossa remonttiin, se onkin tarpeen. Palvelun taso ei aina hyvä, puuttuuko palveluhenkilöstön koulutus, onnistuminen yksilökohtaista. Onko hinnoittelu Dubrovnikissa mennyt överiksi."
