The lobby and common areas were clean and welcoming. The elevators were secure safety wise, but that didn’t matter as much since the person who checked me in announced my room number when giving me the key. This is a huge safety issue that I've not seen practiced in well over a decade and I travel quite often. Very, very poor practice! The room was in need of an update and repair. The mirror was broken, half the lights in the room did not turn on. The room smelled like someone left a juice spill in the carpet for weeks. The towels were extremely thing, scratchy, and small. The headboard and toilet were absolutely filthy, both of which we could not even see fully until the next morning because we arrived at night and the room was dark because half the lights wouldn’t work. The room needed attention to detail and to be properly cleaned.

Checked in on Saturday May 24th. Went to the room, found a used soap with pubic hairs in the shower. Found 2 used make up applicators on the carpet between the beds and on the carpet near the sofa. There was a used spoon behind the alarm clock on the night stand between the beds. I placed all these items on a kleenex and took it to the front desk. I placed them on the front desk counter and showed and explained it to her. No apology, no room move offer, she wrote the info on a clip board and said she would let the housekeeping supervisor know. I asked her to get the manager to call me. No one even attempted to clean our room or recitify the faults during our two day stay. I have not feceived a call from anyone from the property. This is a total dissapointment on Hyatt and a poor reflection on Expedia. I would like someone to contact me.
