Stunning hotel - reception smells so good when you walk in you don’t want to leave! Breakfast is amazing. Room size perfect (family of 4). Staff are all amazing and welcoming. Had a snack on the roof terrace - gorgeous! 360 views of Barcelona just amazing! Would definitely go back.

It was a lovely property but we felt it lacked the amenities a typical 5 star would offer. No real toiletry kit/ lotion provided in the room. Shampoo and conditioner was empty upon check in. No turn down service. Shared with them it was my husbands birthday and wanted to pre book breakfast to the room as a surprise, attempted to order the day before and shared with me they couldn’t coordinate for me I would have to call morning of. Nice property but don’t think it had 5 star service. Dont get me wrong it was a nice property just felt like they weren’t in the business of wowing their customers or going above and beyond like you see in other 5 stars

Nobu Hotel is next door to the train station in Barcelona, which is convenient if you're traveling by train. Also, very easy to get cabs. Many of the attractions are a short ride away. The rooms are attractive and comfy for a city hotel. Sweeping views from the upper floors. And there's the hotel restaurant on the top floor; in the lobby is a nice coffee and snack bar. Fairly pricey but a very nice and safe hotel.

Unfortunately I can’t recommend this hotel. The service was appalling, I tried to flag a staff member for 10 mins on the rooftop to order a drink, gave up and went to the bar, ordered a Coke no lemon - it took 20 mins and had lemon in it. The electronic blinds in the room you can’t close halfway, it’s either very bright or completely dark - something management confirmed as they came to my room. I ordered a beef katsu sandwich via room service and the beef was so tough you could hardly bite into the sandwich and incredibly dry. I was so excited to try a Nobu Hotel for the first time and a major disappointment.

The breakfast was fantastic, the views from the roof top restaurant were spectacular. However the staff lack the attention to detail. Our cleaning was missed for one out of our three days, the flush did not work properly in one of the toilets, we complained on the first day but nothing was done. The bath wash was not refilled, No body cream (basic) and despite asking for this it was not done. No regular water refill, we had to get plastic bottles from reception that were tiny bottles. All in all we paid for a suite and we expected the basics to be in place.

Good but room for improvement

We enjoyed our stay at Nobu but I expected a higher level of cleanliness and the furniture in the guest rooms to be in better condition for a 5 star hotel. Everyone we interacted with was pleasant and I received great service at the Nobu restaurant in addition to the front desk reception. I just think management needs to inspect the rooms and replace furniture that is stained or shows excessive wear. I paid for an upgrade and was disappointed with the condition of the furniture in the room.
