Good hotel for a short trip

I stayed there August 2016. Makes a nice fresh impression as you walk in to the lobby. Short walk from the metro station (5-7 min) and about 200 meters from Checkpoint Charlie. Restaurants, bars nearby. i had a single room, which was a bit small but fitted the purpose. It was clean and modern. One thing I hate was the wardrobe. There was none. They have that sort of thing where you put you clothes on open shelves and hangers and that I don't like match. And there wouldn't be enough space for a longer stay but for one or two nights okay. Internet speed if you don't log in with your facebook account is 1 mbps but seemed to be ok to check emails etc. (if you log in through fb you get 5 mbps). Breakfast was simple but enough, cost only 12€ and you can't fault it for that amount. I stayed in hotels where it cost twice as much and wasn't as good as this. Don't expect Michelin star food but you get the standard choices.

Great location

This hotel is so convenient for getting to Checkpoint Charlie and many other sites such as the Topography of terror museum & Reichstag. Went for a junior suite which meant there was a separate area with TV, settee, 2 chairs & mini fridge. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast provided a lot of choice both hot & cold and though it looks a bit canteenish never too full that can't find a seat. Food is also being topped up regularly. Would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone going to Berlin.

Das Zimmer uns das Bad waren schon sehr abgewohnt. Auf der weiße Bettwäsche waren viele kleine schwarze Haare und Fussel. Das Frühstück war einfach (nur Aufbackbrötchen, Aufschnitt und Käse waren geschmacksneutral). Bei der puren Nahrungsaufnahme hat die enge Bestuhlung und die laute klassische Musik gestört, da diese sehr melancholisch klang.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Super. Die Sauberkeit war grundsätzlich o.k., nur die Laken wurden nicht gewechselt. Es hatte Ein paar Haare darauf.
