With snow in England the sunshine was a very nice change The tours we selected with the help of the staff were brilliant Breakfast was out of this world with so much to choose from The outdoor pool was a delight and our overall stay in Madeira was wonderful Would definitely stay at the Melisa Madeira Mare Hotel again

Upgraded to seaview

Pros: Friendly staff and always willing to help
Location: Open top bus stop nr hotel lots of bars
W We arrived and was told we have been upgraded but if we could stay in the hotel next door for one night. Which we did. Next day we went back to the hotel to book in and said we had our room on the 10th floor our friends had 7th & 9th our room was breath taking over looking the sea and the balcony was very big with 2sunbeds and table and chairs. Our friends were very happy with their rooms too. It was truly a lovely hotel also for the inconvenience they gave us a free dinner and 2rounds of drinks on the house. Would recommend this hotel 1st class

only there for 4 nights but it was a wonderful stay. fantastic staff.

Beautiful hotel great location

Great Hotel In Great Location

Great Hotel In A Great Location Good Breakfast and facilities are all you need. Plenty of places to eat nearby. WiFi worked OK in the room some nights we had 4 devices connected (2 phones and 2 tablets) and got speeds over 20mb. Will be booking Melia Mare when we come back to Madeira Next Year

Great for couples at Christmas

Wonderful breakfasts, gorgeous pools, the most friendly staff and well equipped gym. There are restaurants and bars in walking distance and open top tour buses just up the road. Would really recommend it.

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Das Badezimmer in einem schrecklichen Zustand! Das Bett war bequem. Teppich im Zimmer finde ich persönlich geht gar nicht, ich möchte nicht wissen was da alles schon drauf gelandet ist. Bei den Treppen im Hotel ausserhalb der Zimmer hatte es überall Spinnennetze in den Ecken! Habe auch nie jemanden gesehen der geputzt hat. Das Essen war nichts besonderes. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Wenn man sehr heikel ist, so wie ich, geht man besser in ein anderes Hotel.

Sijainti meren äärellä oli loistava. Aamiainen oli runsas ja terassilla oli miellyttävä nauttia siitä. Kaikki oikeastaan oli hyvin. Miinuksena sanoisin, että pientä remontin tarvetta oli nähtävissä - erityisesti kylpyhuoneessa.
