Great location, friendly staff

The location was perfect, just 2 minutes away from the centre and close for the market and marina. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was fine though could be a little noisy in the mornings as it was street facing and the Madeirans are very noisy. Breakfast was fine, the passionfruit juice always good. There was a lot to see in Madeira and funtoursmadeira.com have cheap tours with knowlegeable guides. The trip on the Ventura to the Islas Desertas was worth doing, even if you didn't get to walk very far on the islands, as the staff were qualified and knowledgeable and we had up to 10 dolphins bow riding. Monte Palace Gardens are fantastic, though the exotic bird collection at the Botannical Gardens was great. Food and drink were amazing and not expensive to eat out. I booked my own tours, but the staff at the hotel are happy to do it for you.

Funchanin keskustassa. Lyhyt matka minne tahansa.

Pros: Kunto kehno. Kylpyhuoneessa veden tuloa rajoitettu niin että peseytyminen oli vaikeaa. Aamiainen kovin vaatimaton. Erittäin kova katumelu.
Cons: Kylpyhuone ja aamiainen. Jos mahdollista, ei huonetta kadun vaan aurinkoterassin puolelta.
Location: Erittäin hyvä sijainti kaupungin keskustassa. Kaikki Funchanissa helposti tavoitettavissa, kuin myös bussit muualle Madeiralla.
Hotellin henkilökunta hyvin ystävällistä ja järjestelykykyistä. Meillä tilannetta paransi, että viereiset kaksi hotellia kuuluivat samalle omistajalle.

Kaupunkiloma Funchalissa

Hotelli on vanha, olisiko -70 lukua mutta tällainen keskustassa oleva yösija on hyvinkin paikallaan. Aamiainen on sama joka aamu, pelkistetty sämpylä- kinkku- juusto- marmeladi pläjays mutta alakerrassa olevasta kaupasta saa mukavasti vihannekset ym. tarvittavat lisukkeet. Hotellin sisäänkäynti on kaupan sisäänkäynnin ja varasto-oven välissä. Varaston oven edessä purkua odottavavien jakeluautojen tyhjäkäyntipakokaasut pääsevät nousemaan hotellin kerroksiin alaoven ollessa auki. Kaupungin äänet eivät häirinneet juurikaan. -

Sympaattinen perushotelli erinomaisella hinta-laatusuhteella

Hyvä perushotelli Funchalin keskustassa lähellä merta, ravintoloita ja kauppoja. Itse hotelli ei juurikaan tarjoa lisäpalveluja, mutta huone oli siisti ja tilava, lisäksi iso parveke. Yksinkertainen aamiainen kuuluu aina hintaan. Suosittelen kaikille, joille riittää perushuone lepäämiseen&peseytymiseen.

très bon choix

Hotel et personnel très agréables (parlant très bien le Français). Parfaitement situé au coeur de Funchal. Accès facile à tous transports et activités . Excursions très bien organisées. Promenades aux jardins éblouissants de couleurs et verdures. Je reviendrai.
