Pros: -Staff were all very friendly and helpful -The room was very impressive -The view from the rooms and hotel are stunning -Transportation is available at the hotel if needed -beds are very comfortable compared to other places I’ve stayed at in japan Cons: -It’s a bit of a drive if you want to get to any of the towns nearby, but that seclusions from them also has its own charm to it Overall I loved this hotel and it’s been my favorite in Japan so far so I had to give it 5 stars

Hotel situated at a beautiful location by the lake with a view of Mt Fuji when weather is clear. Nice walk to forest area. We had a spacious room in annex building. Air conditioning could have been better but not a problem. Buffet style dinner at lakeside restaurant was excellent with plenty of choices, although a bit pricey. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Free shuttle bus service to station comfortable and punctual.

The staff is attentive and the onsen is very relaxing. The hotel sometimes feels like a maze. Even though it said on its website that they had a SPA continuously, it was closed for the day we went (tuesday); double check that. The buffet breakfast is definitely worth taking. The walks around the hotel and next to the lake will show you beautiful sights. Walking distance to the waterside shrine and the Laketown.

A comfortable and well-run hotel with good service and a pleasant lake view. The Japanese-style breakfast was very good, though not outstanding.
