For the price and comfort, I will not stay there again. This hotel is convenient because it is close to a train station. Personnel was nice but not trained enough or at all in customer service. The room was clean.

The Centrum hotel is old and dilapidated. It looks like they have not updated it since the 1970s. There are no facilities to speak of, not even a kettle to make tea. The internet is terrible. I would not recommend staying here unless there is no alternative...which was my situation. This was the only hotel available at short notice and it cost me almost $300 which is daylight robbery for such a shabby hotel.

My visit to Hamburg was really short (3 nights) and I just wanted to explore the city a little. This hotel's location is very convenient. Altona, has a great feel and is worth exploring in its own right. I didn't have enough time to check out the neighbourhood, so I hope to be back to explore it more. The single room I stayed in was very clean and comfortable and even though it felt a bit basic, it fully met my expectations (a single solo traveller). I may have been a bit disappointed at having to pay 15 Euro per night to park my car at an off-site location, but I would still be happy to stay at this hotel again next time I visit Hamburg. Highly recommended.

When we got there the hotel was closed with a note on the door. No one answered our phone call when we tried to get in touch. We had prepaid for the room and sent Horels.com a message that we were still coming and we got no email letting us know that it would be closed. We had to quicjly find another hotel at short notice and payed again!

very good location good a nice quiet altona area only a few stops away from centre , everything very good only gripe wish thay had coffee making facilities in rooms or a coffee machine in foyer .
