Simple but clean and comfortable. Our room was modern and the bed was in good condition. The breakfast was listed as continental breakfast but it was a nice spread with eggs, waffles, etc. Only downside was that the hot tub was just warm and not hot.

The room was quiet, the bed very comfortable, the hot tub perfect and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was nice to prepare us for a day of hiking. In the evening, we enjoyed conversation while sitting around the gas fire pit. Hill City is a short drive from Mount Rushmore, lake Sylvan and other attractions. I would stay here again.
