Room was clean, breakfast was great, pool area was clean. Pool water was a bit cold, and hot tub had a crack in it which prevented it from staying completely full. The room we were in lacked adequate areas to hang towels. There was a large gap (~1”) under the room door to the outside which I felt was unacceptable. We had to put a towel in front of the door at night. The card reader did not work into the pool area or into the side of the building door, which could potentially be a safety concern.

The location is ideal! Its mins away from Mt. Rushmore, Keystone, Cluster State Patk, etc. The staff, breakfast, and amenities are amazing! I would definitely stay here again.

NO ELEVATORS!! This would do in a pinch but can’t recommend. We had to wait for a ground floor room as we can’t climb stairs. Room was so loud between the upstairs and outside road and gas station. Outside fire pit was really nice.

I think this is the best place to stay! Very comfortable beds and pillows. The water pressure is insane- its like a spa! I'm picky about cleanliness and this place was spotless. You can easily walk to downtown in 5 minutes to eat breakfast or dinner. We didn't eat the free breakfast, but I did get coffee every morning to walk to downtown and it was good. The ice cream pie at the Alpine Inn (in town) is soooo good! We got it to go twice and ate it in front of the fire outside the hotel. Tip: if you eat dinner at the Alpine Inn- go later like 8pm- we only had to wait 20 minutes but at 5:00 the wait is 3 hours!!! Also, highly recommend the thai fusion restaurant, Lemongrass. You can walk to it from the hotel and they have live music on their patio on Friday and Saturday. The food is so good!

EverSpring was a great home base for this leg of our trip. We were able to enjoy snacks and drinks on the deck with a gorgeous view! Staff was friendly and informative. Trail behind the property was really nice and went on for 100 miles. Pet friendly. The pool and hot tub were nice for relaxing after a day of travel. I highly recommend this property!

We stayed in the apartment and were a little surprised it was across the street from the Inn in a separate building. It was incredibly roomy with a large kitchen island. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen could use some more utensils and pans. Bathroom needs more towel bars.

Property was nice and clean, comfy bed, great pillows. Fantastic staff!! My point of improvement is to move the ice and vending machines down near the pool area if possible. The sound of people filling their coolers with ice at all hours just reverberates down the hall.

The beds were comfortable and the hot breakfast was very good. The location of the hotel was perfect for visiting Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and Custer State Park. Local restaurants, coffee, and grocery stores were all within 10 minutes. The staff was absolutely wonderful and very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.
