Well lit with two door-windows with a panoramic view overlooking the rooftops of old Lisbon. Two rooms, one a bedroom including office, the other comprehends dining room, salon, and kitchen. Bathroom with toilet, two small balconies overlooking a pedestrianised street. In the heart of Santa Catarina, is in a calm neighbourhood.

We were there 8 nights in September. The apartment was great, large and clean and bright and the view was amazing!!! It is up in the third floor with no elevator so be aware of thatAnd the only other issue we had was for 8 nights we only had one towel and hand towel each. The area is great, little market around the corner for groceries and souvenirs, lots of restaurants not too far of a walk, the family’s tram 28 has a stop right around the corner so that was great!:) the owners would very quick to respond and give any tips on places to go:) I’d stay again and recommend this apartment:) it’s walkable to so many places, pink street, time out market, the train/ferry terminal:)

Had a great time, I felt comfortable staying here, bed, bathroom, living room and kitchen all made the apartment lively - highlight for me is the two double doors that opens to the roof tops of old Lisbon gives you the panoramic view and makes the apartment super bright, felt that I made the right choice in staying here- want to be in the older part of Lisbon and just get lost walking the old streets you came to the right place - but be prepared for walking on hilly streets, if you have mobility challenges this is not the neighbourhood you want to be at.The apartments location is pretty central, you can walk to many restaurants and Tourist areas Thank you, Francoise

A great apartment in perfect location

We stayed in this apartment for a week and it was great. It's tastefully furnished, complete with a lots of beautiful original art work on the walls. It's close transport and shops and within walking distance from the centre of the city. Fransoise greeted us warmly on arrvial and answered our barrage of questions about what to see and how to get there, etc. Her local restaurant recommendations were spot on. We loved our stay here. Very special.

We were charmed!

We loved the apartment, the city, the country and the hosts! We greatly appreciated the communication from the hosts and their kind accommodation of our early arrival check in request. Jorge and Francoise did a beautiful job restoring this historic apartment so that it is comfortable and efficient. The big windows with city view are an unforgettable feature. We were very happy with the neighborhood and its many shops and restaurants. It was very easy to access other areas of the city on foot and we walked everywhere, always feeling quite safe. It was a fantastic week for our first trip to Portugal and we are already planning to return!

Tranquil & Breathtaking Retreat

Everything was perfect, from our initial booking to the moment we sadly closed the door at the end of our stay. Prior to our arrival the owners, Francoise & Jorge, answered all of our questions. We were warmly greeted by Francoise to their lovely & spotlessly clean apartment. It was well equipped with everything that we needed. What a stunning view, even better than in the pictures. This is exactly what one would imagine when picturing historic Lisbon. The neighbourhood is quiet and charming, and we found all that we needed within easy walking distance, including groceries cafes, restaurants.& a laundry mat . We especially enjoyed Francoise's recommendation of a friendly & cozy little tapas restaurant just around the corner. Merci Francoise & Jorge for a truly memorable stay. We hope to return.

Beautiful little apartment - perfect location

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a week and had the best time. Francoise was a wonderful host and gave us great recommendations for activities around the city. Location is excellent to old town Lisbon apt is clean quiet and comfortable. Great view from the 3rd floor , large floor to ceiling glass doors. Host made early check in and ordering a cab on leaving a breeze as they live in the building spent two weeks in unit and it felt like a home away from home

A room with a view

By the time you meet Jorge and François, at the door of a building covered in beautiful tile you will have already fell in love with the cobblestone streets, cascading buildings, tucked away cafes and hills of Lisbon. But after you walk up the stairs, you will see why you came. Through the door leading to your balcony you will see the terracotta crowns of city building and re-building it self. Massive cranes of new construction move in the distance while next to bells of cathedrals chiming, and all of them standing on medieval stones laid down by people an age ago. In short, if this all sounds new to you, then it sounds like what you need... at least that was my expiernce

Little Gem

We stayed here for 10 days in October. The apartment is in an old traditional building so no lift but don't let that put you off! The apartment itself is modern, light, very comfortable and well equipped. Huge windows/doors look out over facinating old areas of Lisbon. At all times of day and night the views are stunning. Once we got our bearings, we discovered what an excellent location the flat has. You can easily reach the metro, waterfront, Commercial Square and Time Out market on foot. Françoise was extremely helpful, responded quickly to enquiries and was a delightful person to meet. All in all a lovely place to stay whilst exploring the areas of Lisbon.

We were very happy with the apartment and impressed with our host. Great location and quiet street. We had told our host before we visited that we were interested in visiting bookstores during our stay and our host had a list of places to visit prepared when we arrived. A great little Tapas restaurant just a few doors away. A number of places for coffee and breakfast also nearby. A lovely wine shop just down the road. Apartment was clean, spacious and well appointed. Overall we can't say enough nice things about Lisbon and the apartment.

Sensational light

My second time to Lisbon and this unit stands out for its amazing, west facing, terra cotta tiled roof-view over the city and the huge glass window/doors that flood the unit in light. Cozy, comfortable and lots of fresh if you want it. It was a pleasure to have stayed 12 nights. Jorge and Françoise were helpful and accommodating. The only thing the kitchen needs is a good chef’s knife, for those that like to cook.

Perfect spot in Lisbon

I will start by saying Francoise and Jorge were perfect hosts, and the apartment was accurately represented in photos and the VRBO description. Those are two important factors for VRBO clients. My two-week stay was excellent. The apartment in on a quiet street in a bustling district. Excellent shops and restaurants are an easy walk from the apartment. Also, one of the best river overlooks is right around the corner. This place is an easy 10-minute walk to the river and Metro. Very central location. The apartment was really better than advertised. Francoise and Jorge didn't overlook any comfort. The bathroom includes a heated towel rack and mirror (the mirror doesn't fog up during a shower). The kitchen includes a dishwasher and state-of-the-art range. The balcony doors offer a breathtaking city view day or night. Guests climb a generous set of stairs to reach this apartment, which is on the third floor. In my last Lisbon apartment, the stairs were narrow and steep. Not these. They are more like US standards. Everything -- apartment, entry, stairwells -- was extremely clean and very well maintained. Francoise was timely with communication, most often answering texts within a few minutes. Check-in was effortless and welcoming. I felt like I had traveled to visit a friend by the time my stay ended. I would stay here again and again. The location and everything was perfect. Highly recommend!

Great Place

A very nice apartment in a quiet, convenient location. Nicely equipped for cooking in, but also walking distance to many bars and restaurants. Tram 28 is nearby. It is on the 3rd floor so stairs are a part of coming & going daily. But there is also a lovely 3rd floor view from large windows & doors. Great overall.

I highly recommend!

My spouse and I stayed for one week in this apartment during our two-week trip in Lisbon. The apartment is perfect for two people, was very clean when we arrived, and has everything you need to prepare food if you want to save on restaurants. My spouse was sick during our stay, so we couldn’t go very far. I mention this because we ended up spending more time in the apartment than was originally planned, and it was very comfortable. I didn’t have the opportunity to meet Jorge, but Françoise is a gem! I would not hesitate to go back!

Nice Appartment

This was a lovely place with everything you needed to be comfortable and it is so centrally located everything you want to see is so close. My wife and I stayed for a month. Our hosts were great and the details of the property were well defined in their welcome package. We arrived late and they still had someone at the property to receive us.
