Clean room with a fantastic shower! The 2 things about the Holmes Hotel that inliked the best: 1) the staff was very friendly and helpful, all the time, even when I asked dumb questions. 2) the shower is big and the water is hot.

It was my first time in London and if I return I will definitely return. Room was of a good size compared with the small rooms of London. Nice Decoration in all the Hotel. This is the kind of Hotel that we like to stay. The location is excellent, nice coffee places around and mostly local people and away of the crowded touristic areas but still close. Thank you!

Love the Hotel Holms

I had an incredible time and will return again for sure. Excellent location and very clean. I don't eat breakfast so didn't need the extra breakfast option... but there are also a million places in the area to go. It's now my favorite place in London!!

The hotel is lovely especially the lounging areas and restaurant. The check-in person did not offer an upgrade. I asked about it since the Expedia info said to. She implied they were full which they certainly were not base on the Expedia website that showed many rooms were available. Then she said someone higher up from her needed to approve. By then I wished I hadn’t mentioned it. Anyways she did upgrade the room eventually, but it’s not the same after all that. I share this feedback to be helpful as you should either upgrade people cheerfully or not at all.

Loved the area. Very close to tube station Before arriving asked for an early check in at 12 midday which was approved. Did not receive the room until 3:10pm with no answer as to why. We were very upset about this as we had a long travel day. The hotel menu felt as if it needed a new alternative. Loaded with unusual dishes which did not take our fancy. Manage my could have went more above to provide apologies for this. Room was lovely once we received this. Lively bathroom and beds were ok. Bit on the hard side Would also like to highlight the incident in the bar on night one. Management are aware and had everything sorted and apologies sent to us All in all the hotel was fine. Good location for tube but could have done more in terms of communication and better front of house service
