Purchased an unobstructed Tower Bridge view for 2 days. Got to our room and it was only a partial view. Went to the front desk and they said they could move me. Moved to a room with a view. Was in the room for an hour, showered, and when I went to pull the covers back, found a large bug on my pillow. Called the front desk and while on the phone, my spouse pulled the covers down and found 5 more bugs crawling in the sheets. The second room that we had been given had had the window open and all the drawers for the dresser open. I had thought nothing of it, but I believe they were fumigating and knowingly gave me a room that had bugs. Moved to a 3rd room and was told to talk to the front desk in the morning. The front desk was completely unaware when I spoke with them. After the day, I was emailed by Jurgita saying I would get 20% of the first night of my room. Waited 2 weeks, no refund. Emailed her again. She said expedia takes a while. Emailed expedia, they said they never heard anything from the hotel. After 6 weeks and multiple emails, I finally got 20% back from one night. I would NEVER stay here.

Manager was very accommodating with getting us a room we were satisfied with. The staff was overall friendly and helpful. Hotel itself is older and is only good because if the location and the beautiful views. some of the staff at breakfast were rude at the check-in counter. Also the concierge worker was rude as well.

Excellent. Simple to book. Staff very helpful - above and beyond the call of duty. Especially when we were having problems calling an Uber taxi, the lady receptionist could not have been more helpful - even coming out to us at the front door when she saw we were still having trouble. Good value but outdated

Fabulous location and communal areas. Room we were allocated had a fantastic view of Tower Bridge and the Tower of London but was out dated and in need of a refresh. Furniture and bathroom were old and there were no sockets near the bed. Bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. Air conditioning couldn’t be controlled within the room and a fan was provided. Good value for the price paid. I expect if/when it is refurbished the rooms will be much more expensive.
