Very unhappy with our experience here. We got a room above the nightclub which they failed to mention online or anywhere. The music and the noise was so loud you couldn't sleep when going to the desk to see if there was anything we could do about it or change our room also nothing they could do about it and they assured me that this is something that goes on regularly and there was no changes that could be made so at midnight we would need to go to a different hotel or stay there for a small discount. Sanitation was below expectation parts of the building looked rundown not what we expected at all would not recommend.

Check in was great, Andre from Fairmot provided a welcoming and absolute 1st class checkin experience. For a one-night stavy however, the room however were not up to Fairmont standards when I had to spend 3 hours coordinating Engineering on several issues.HVAC, Shower problems etc. Would be nice if hotel desk staff could do more then provide plesant smile and apologies... while negotiating to "try" and give you 12:30 late checkout instead of 1pm ;^/ Sushi Bar at the hotel Masa is worth a mention and a shout out. The best most fresh fish I've tasted in a sushi bar ever. Tiny place, Tokyo style with Omakase worth saving all year to enjoy (yea, its expensive). But if you love real Japanese sushi... And of course, Santa Monica was beautiful and the view from the room fabulous.

Our room had plumbing issues and the front desk did not explain things when we checked in. The valet service was great and always avaliable. Rooms where clean. The food was good but expensive and limited selection.

I booked an ocean view, the room assigned to me was 20% of ocean and 80% of the front of the property entrance. The sleep was disappointing as I could hear the music from the Bungalow even with the door closed. Breakfast ordered to the room was cold, hardly any of it was touched. Due to the fact I had a flight to catch, I couldn’t be bothered asking them to re-send as I didn’t have time.

Everyone was so friendly, helpful, courteous and beyond caring of our comfortability, the spa was amazing! The evening, live piano was fantastic! We didn’t get a chance to make it to the pool, but we could see how beautiful it was from our room, we could see Malibu from out balcony also. We loved our stay, we will be back soon! Thank you to all of the staff in the hotel and valet.

Great location. A bit dated but the lobby bar is nice, the Le Labo soaps were a nice touch and housekeeping were good. The south side rooms are VERY loud because of the outdoor night club. Made it hard to sleep. A private event was booked for all of Saturday that blocked many amenities and there was no prior communication to guests about it. Very disappointed in that.
