This is an older hotel and I expected wear and tear. However, the common areas were dirty, someone was smoking cannabis inside and it reaked. There was a huge stain on the sheet in my first room (I don’t even know why they’d put that on, gross) and they moved me to another room that was clean, but lots of less than stellar (ripped curtains, shower handle falling, patch) I had ltd options since it was a holiday weekend and my usual places did not have vacancy or allow pets, so I was kind of stuck. The staff did work with me to put me where I was comfortable, but I would not recommend this hotel.

Bad choice stay

The room wasn't very clean. Floor looked like it wasn't vacuumed, the microwave had bacon grease on the round turntable. The chair in the room was stained up with a pizza box and crumbs under the cushion.the shower curtain rod was falling off the wall. The bathroom ceiling was stained from water leaks.

When checking in staff tried to tell me there was an outstanding balance of $69.99. To which i had to pull up my credit card and show i was charged in full. A fellow patron asked me if i was charged an additional amount to which i was honest and said they tried to. Seems to me everyone upon check-in is charged additional even if they paid in full in advance.

Very noisy. There was about a 3/4 inch gap on the bottom of the door so you could hear lots of noise, including people opening thier doors, and a dog that would bark occasionally through the night. The hotel feels old and needs to be renovated. Staff was nice and breakfast was good.

There have been no real upgrades to Baymonts since Wyndham acquired them and it's kinda sad. This is my second time staying at this particular location in the last 3yrs. Staff is always very nice. The hotel overall is clean, but has a mildewy smell in the hallways. Our room was fine, bathroom however could use just a little TLC. Overall the hotel is great if you just need to spend a night somewhere and don't want to spend a ridiculous amount.
