Encore was a complete disappointment. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone with children or a family traveling. Upon arrival, I found no working coffee maker or pots in the house, so I requested a replacement. Unfortunately, the second coffee maker was also broken. I paid $165 for two days of access to the heated pool, but it was never heated. Maintenance came and fixed the issue the evening of the second day, but I was still charged the full price.
The complimentary breakfast was equally disappointing. They only offered powdered eggs, a meat, white bread with coffee or orange every morning. There were no other complimentary options available. If you wanted pancakes or something else, you had to pay extra.
The kids’ club was only open from 10 to 5 pm, so if you were out at any of the Disney parks, you couldn’t use the water park at Encore.
On the bright side, the house was very clean and spacious. I just wished I could have used the heated pool that I paid for. It was unacceptable to be charged for something you didn’t have access to.
These are just a few reasons why I wouldn’t recommend Encore to anyone.
