The main frustration was lock on the door that didn't work properly. It took about 12 tries to get the coordination between the key card and the latch to get in the room. The floor in the room seemed dirty and worn. The rest of the room was clean.

We had liked Rosen Inn at Lake Buena Vista on a previous trip, and was put in the 'renovated' side, but that was old, outlets all loose, hardly any of them, one ice machine broken, 2 out of 3 washing machines down, 2 of 4 dryers down, and even though signs say vending machines on all floors, only saw one on level 1. First day there, put 'do not disturb' sign on the door, then get a call from the desk, as though that was not a good thing. Second to last day, come back to an uncleaned room, only to see on the printout that if they have too many checkouts, we may not get service. Really? On top of it all, they have flyers for the bar/cafe on every elevator and they hand you one, and not one of the price lists is accurate. They charge WAY more now than what's posted. Very disappointed.

I requested a first floor room, I got the 2nd floor furthest from anything. After calling about our dysfunctional door. The girl said I could go back down and change rooms. I’m old and I wasn’t hauling everything back and to another room. 2230 almost killed us the way it is. We like this property it’s our 2nd stay. But someone needs to pay attention to detail please

I’ve stayed here a few times. It has been great in the past, but this time it was just OK. The property is well manicured, but is only half renovated, so it isn’t cohesive in its appearance. The rooms, as well as the main lobby area need upgrading. Our bathroom door wouldn’t even open all the way, and the amenities are pretty basic. The included shuttle is a great offering, but the first driver had 10 signs telling people to tip (basically a taped piece of paper on every other window), and the second driver was making everyone trash or dump all drinks and snacks before entering the bus. For the price, most of that is to be expected, and I would be inclined to rate higher, except, the bartenders at the bar closed whenever they wanted, and acted annoyed to be of service. It was the weekend, and the bartender kicked everyone out at 9:50, saying they closed at 10. On the website, it says food stops at 10, but the bar stays open as long as there’s demand. The bar had easily 6 or 7 parties, most of whom were enjoying drinks. When we asked to confirm the time, the bartender said she was closing early because it was dead. It was not. She said she’d serve us 1 round, but then we’d have to leave. We declined the round, so as not to inconvenience her, but closing so early on a weekend night is crazy to me. Reception was fine. The girl who checked us in was friendly and accommodating. The location is very good. They just really need to up their game in some key areas.
