We wasted time and money coming here. The communication from the staff was poor from the start, and the service throughout was disappointing. Guests were hoarding all the lounge chairs at the pool, and the staff didn’t do anything about it. We just needed one chair to place our towels and hats, but even though some families had 9 chairs (while all swimming), no one offered to move anything—and the staff didn’t step in. After walking around for a long time, only one kind guest noticed us and kindly moved their belongings so we could sit. For the price, we could’ve gone to a real water park and had a much better experience. Important to note: if you rent a one-bedroom apartment, you’ll be placed on the opposite side of the resort—about a 6-minute walk to the water area. Driving there is an option, but it’s not ideal if you’re wet or have little kids with you. At check-in, we were told a golf cart comes every 30 minutes. When I asked how many people it fits (since there was already a family of three waiting), the staff member said “two.” That didn’t make any sense—especially since he could clearly see we were a family of three too. He eventually mentioned there’s a larger cart, but why not just lead with that? To top it off, no one mentioned that the towels we needed for the pool were in our room—but our room wasn’t even ready yet. From check-in to our time at the pool, the whole experience felt disorganized and frustrating. Would not recommend.

We have stayed at the grove 3 times before, however this time it was horrible. The rooms were fine, but checkin process was horrible. We were promised earlier checkin and didnt get our room until after 6pm. The internet at the hotel is unreliable, if you plan to work from there, you are out of luck. The market always ran out of food items and one day all the systems were down and you couldn't order anything. Its not like it was before, the new management really ran this place down to the ground. Will not be staying here again.

My overall experience with the hotel itself was great. The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are very clean and kept up-to-date. The staff was great. It was a smooth process to check in and check out. The only complaint is that there is a lot of people that are guest there that don’t know how to behave appropriately in a family setting. A lot of people were drunk and ghetto and not wearing appropriate bathing suits for a place that has children and is created around families. There was a group of men That were obviously intoxicated, spraying people in the face with the water guns. I believe the hotel has to do a better job at monitoring their guest for appropriate behaviors and appropriate attire.

This resort is more like an overpriced air BNB next to a water park. Check-in wasn't welcoming at all, nor informative. We were dropped us off at the main building and we were told to wait in the back area for a golf cart which never came. My kids and I ended up walking with our luggages to our building for check in. Once we got to our building, there was no one at the front desk. Once she came, she checked us in, handed me a map and the keys and pointed us to the elevator. No mention about the facilities, where anything was, or that there is a separate charge to change our pool towels or have our room cleaned. I only found out on the third day when I wanted to exchange our dirty pool towels for fresh towels and was told I could pay a fee or wash them myself. They overcharge for everything and the dining options are limited. There is a daily fee if you want housekeeping to provide clean towels and your trash taken out. I called guest services and housekeeping about three times and no one picked up. I wanted a resort feel. This was not it. In my opinion, this place is more for locals with their own cars and coolers.
