check in was at 4- we did not get our room till 5. after begging for updates. The room has a great layout. no wet towel exchanges. Two bathing towels had makeup and black hair on them, did not use them. Also two bathrooms had hair on drain. WE had to clean it out. One toilet got clogged after 1 use. one lady in the reception was horrible could not even tell us what food we could get in the hotel, had an attitude, it was just not a good experience at all. Wish we had a refund to be honest.

We had a few issues during our stay at this hotel. First, we were charged an additional $300 security deposit, which we were told would be refunded upon check-out. However, we didn’t receive the refund until after we had checked out. Another issue was the cleaning fee. The resort charges $80 for a full cleaning and $15 for a “refresh” of the room. If I had known about these additional fees before booking, I wouldn’t have stayed at this hotel. The bathroom sink was clogged, and the television wasn’t showing live TV. We reported these issues to the front desk and the manager, but we didn’t receive a response. Finally, we were able to contact someone over the phone on our third try, and they sent a maintenance guy to fix the sink and TV. The worst issue we encountered was finding a dead cockroach in my wife’s bed. While I don’t mind cockroaches, my wife does, and I had to reassure her that it was dead and there was no more around. This incident and all the issues above ruined our trip.

We had high hopes for this stay, but unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations. First impressions were underwhelming. The hallways were dim, dingy, and outdated, with paint peeling from the dark brown doors—something you’d expect in a motel, not a resort charging premium prices. The elevator near our room was broken for an entire day, adding extra inconvenience to an already frustrating experience. At check-in, we were hit with over $300 in parking and resort fees—a steep price tag for amenities that didn’t deliver. The water park, one of the main reasons we booked this property, was abruptly closed due to rain. We weren’t allowed to wait out the storm at Longboards, which left many families standing around confused and disappointed. The atmosphere throughout the property was chaotic. Loud and unruly guests were allowed to carry on well into the night, making it difficult to relax or sleep. At times, the behavior of some guests was intimidating, with no apparent effort from staff to address it. Children roamed unsupervised in common areas, creating a sense of disorder and discomfort. Overall, the lack of maintenance, poor crowd management, and excessive fees left us feeling that this stay was absolutely not worth the cost. We won’t be returning, and I would advise other travelers to look elsewhere—especially if you’re hoping for a peaceful, family-friendly resort experience.
