How good hotels were pre-pandemic

I often drive up from South Florida to Orlando to visit family, theme parks, and festivals. The Wingate is the best affordable hotel that I've stayed at in recent memory. It is centrally located, clean, efficient, great beds, plentiful hot water, surprisingly quiet, and has blackout curtains. I slept great! Even though it is near the airport, it is not near any flight paths. Several good restaurants within walking distance, too. They actually provided daily, unsolicited room cleanings like how it was pre-pandemic. I will definitely stay here again.
