Renovated Motel6. Feels like long term/transient housing. A Sign in the office warns of $150 penalty for pot smoke, which I smelled in the office. Pros: affordable, pretty clean, close to light rail & quiet

Terrible decision to book this hotel. Was not granted room at check in time, room was damaged and dirty, Wifi is not existent on lower level. Extremely bad smell and smoke. Plenty of people loitering on property. Told to park in view of cameras to limit break in on vehicles. Damaged vehicles on premises. Asked to cancel booking but had to wait till 7pm for manager. When management arrived informed too late to cancel had to pay part of booking. Will never book again. Don’t stay here it’s not safe in so many ways.

Was impressed that the rooms had electric stoves, toasters and almost a full size refrigerator. However, the up keep of the rooms was questionable. The first room had an overpowering smell of cleaner however even with that it couldn’t hide the pet smell. We asked to be moved rooms due to that and the front desk was more than nice enough to help us. Unfortunately the second room smelled like cigarette smoke even though the facility is none smoking. The facility looks like they usually have people living out of them which I don’t have a problem with however these can contribute to the excessive wear and tear and smells we saw in the two rooms we stayed in. Over all probably wouldn’t stay there again. Yes I understand some will say it’s a lower budget hotel but I’ve stayed in other motel 6 that where better kept.

This was my third and last stay. This visit started by a desk attendant telling me if anyone is in my room for more than 5 mins, they’d need to bring their ID to the front desk!?!?! Then the door did not lock when closed. It can be just pushed in. Then on Sunday I return mid day needing to use the restroom to find my door being propped open with a chair with my cloths on it and two men in my room!?! Thinking they knew the door didn’t lock I assumed the door was being repaired. They were instead changing out a perfectly fine working a/c unit. I was very dissatisfied with my stay and the demand to report visiting guest to my room to the hotel staff felt like a huge violation of my rights as a hotel guest. And on a Sunday afternoon to find all my things open to the entire hotel and two strangers in my room. With all my things out. I am also missing a very nice sweater. Thank you for asking for my review as to avoid another traveler experiencing any part of my last stay.

As advertised, this hotel has been renovated and is in a great location off the I-5 and within walking distance to a plaza for groceries and restaurants. Don't expect toiletries other than a hand soap or to find fluffy pillows or quality towels, sheets, or blankets here. Room was clean and the appliances all worked. Not the hotel's fault but there were a few barking pets and smokers on the balcony beside my room, and I did alert the front desk staff who explained actions they would take. First time staying at Studio 6 but I'll make sure there's no balcony on the next property I book.

Peel back the sheep skin - unveil the problems.

Hotel 'claimed' the rooms were newly renovated..... Room looked fine upon entrance. However problems started to emerges quickly. The railing of the closet were rusty to the point that I was afirad my daughter would catch tentus if she stepped on it. The shower mirror had water seeped in and turned brown. Super efficient water system that hot and cold were mixed and the flow was drip drip drip. It looked like the renovation was selective and you only discover the problems upon peeling back the sheep skin. Staff were fine but the neighbours were low class and I was afirad my car would get broken into. Will not stay here again.
