The only thing that we felt needed improving was security. Anyone could access the lift to any floor. Gates at front of building near reception were open the night we stayed to any walk-in off the street.

The landscape near the foyer was lovely. We had a pleasant stay overall. But there were a couple of issues. We were given a room on ground floor near the lift so it was noisy. There was no communication about no hot water and froze whole trying to have a shower so we were not impressed and had to go and find out at reception what was going on. A quick text message to all patron the current situation. Very annoyed when it happened again and weren't told. We were then woken up at 2.30am with a few workers talking loudly outside without any consideration.

First offer is not always the best.

Following a false start our 5 night stay went without a hitch. Having stayed at the Coogee Adina on several occasions we were surprised with the state of the first apartment we were shown..picture off the wall, older bathroom lacking soaps/shampoo/body lotion, carpet near the entrance bubbled which was a trip hazard. Our concern to the front desk was noted and a maintenance person fixed the picture but was uncertain about remedying the carpet. The response from the front office to my repeat concern was to offer another apartment..which we accepted. We were surprised with the quality of the second apartment: had all the expected amenities, overall was significantly better...and at the same price. The moral of this review is to ensure you are being offered the best quality accommodation available.

Stayed in an apartment for 7 days. The rooms were good, well equipped, tidy and comfortable. Reception staff very friendly, and local facilities excellent. Will stay there again in a heartbeat.
