Perfect location, attractions were all within walking distance and the area itself was nice and quiet. Amenities, staff, common areas, and bar were fantastic. We'll be returning in a heartbeat.

I’m so glad we found this place to stay in: historic building, modern and maintained very well. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Lots of on site facilities that we hadn’t expected. Very easy for water bus and water taxis.. 1 min walk!! The centre of Venice and all attractions are easily reachable on foot. Lovely breakfast included. Would honestly recommend this to anyone travelling to Venice.. families/ couples and solo travellers.

This is a remarkable property, in a converted monastery. I opted for a double, which was the size of a studio apartment, fully equipped. A large courtyard, enclosed promenade, excellent restaurant, cafe, bar and lounge, all on site. Breakfast buffet is included and is excellent. Front desk and maintenance staff all highly commendable. A notable plus is that the property is on a large piazza, in a, quiet, lovely, very low traffic area. I took a private water taxi in from the train station, which was a beautiful, scenic cruise. Even with fairly minimal luggage, walking in would have been far less appealing, especially for a first time in the city. Five stars!

Large clean room close to water bus from airport. Bag storage was nice but not secure. Breakfast was typical continental fare so nothing of note. Overall a great first stop for an extended trip.

This is a HOSTEL, not a hotel. This was not outlined at all in the Expedia booking and we double checked the description twice. The room was a dorm room and while large and clean the setting was not at all what we had intended when we booked. The common areas were filled with students who were smoking/vaping and lounging about. The hotel was far from the train rail though fairly close to the airport shuttle. The air conditioning was also on a governor and did not permit one to change. If you’re a 20 something and/or student this may be okay but the price is equivalent to a normal hotel stay in Venice and we did not appreciate the hostel atmosphere.

We loved that this hotel was a bit away from St. Mark's square. It allows you to easily walk to the busy tourist areas or easily enjoy the area around the hotel which is calm and relaxing with plenty of bars and restaurants. The hotel itself is wonderful. The cafe and restaurant are great amenities and we really enjoyed the breakfast. Huge property which was a pleasant change of pace.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, rooms were huge, shower was good, breakfast was good, good value in comparison to other Venice hotels, easy to take Aliguna to the airport, it was a little far from St Marks, but we enjoyed winding through the streets to get there

Very unique property for being a former monastery in the 1300s. Quiet, spacious. Rooms were simple, functional, clean and well equipped. Close to the water taxis and restaurants. Would definitely stay again!

Super convenient traveling from the Venice airport to the hostel using the water taxi! Clean, big rooms, and friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful complex with some history behind it. Would recommend this stay to anyone wanting to stay in Venice
