Jack checked me in early. I really appreciated that. The room with 8 bunks was not clean. There was dust aand hair around the bed. The mens toilet on the 2nd floor was disgusting. The walls were so dirty. Must renovate that bathroom. Overall, worn and tired hostel. Howvever the team is aweaome.

The title Sums it all up :) I love how they also have a personal information booth with a real live person. MARK is one of the guys there. Really chill dude. Personable and really helpful! Would highly recommend to those who are thinking of staying in bangkok.

Cosy budget hostel

Booked a double room. Helpful friendly English speaking staff and easy check in process. There is no lift so have to carry luggage up to the 4th floor. Given room is awkward design and has a sweaty smell. Some parts of the room show signs of wear and tear. Room has no windows but there is a opening on the ceiling that lets the light in during daytime. A bit annoying if someone wants to sleep late or get intimate as the room is bright during the day even with all the lights switched off. TV has limited channels. Wifi is not working. Overall standard is acceptable for a hostel.

Good hostel. Aircon incident during stay

Pros: friendly and helpful staff, good common area and bar, good wi-fi, excellent atmosphere, modern rooms and lobby with good air conditioning. On the hostel reception there is a list where the guests can put their names and try to find other travellers who are going to the airports to share a taxi, other than this, on the toilets there is a “give away” shelf where you can leave toiletries and other stuff that are not needed anymore and could be useful for other travellers (nice initiatives !). Free cold and hot water are available on the lobby. Cons: cleanliness can be improved, our room was a little bit dusty mainly on the table, chair and around the bed. One night the air conditioner in our room leaked and soaked our belongings, we had a terrible night drying up everything and sleeping without air conditioner, the hostel managed to fix everything it the day after. The overall rating would definitely be higher if we didn't have this issue. There is one specific area for the ladies only rooms that is only accessible with the room keys.

Nice clean hostel with friendly staff

On arrival the staff we're friendly and helpful. Check in was speedy and they gave us an overview of the services they offered. We stayed in a railway twin room and it was really clean, spacious and the air con worked. The shared toilets were also really clean and had lots of showers available so you never had to wait. Location was good, the hostel is near Solon street which is really good for street food and it was only a 30min walk to the Hua Lamphong train station. We would definitely stay again.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. Lub D is located in an intersection on Silom main street. Perfect location. So clean and they have daily activities. It is close to two or more Metro/BTS stations.

Nice hostel !

Really nice hostel! Clean and good! It is not a party hostel, you can just enjoy the people in the lounche. Also close by a good foodstreet. I love my time in bangkok and lub d hostel.
