The staff were wonderful. This is my 3rd stay in 3 yrs. Just a few glitches…. When we got in the room we realized there was 7 face cloths but no bath mat and only 1 towel. Then we realized there was no toilet paper. The staff was very quick to fix these oversights. Also, housecleaning is every other day, not every day. The thing that made me most nervous was the door was off kilter and it did not open and close without a lot of effort. I do like staying here but this time it was not up to par.

At check in, the female at the desk knew my name. She was NOT wearing a name tag nor did she introduce herself. She did not offer a Welcome bag. I went to bed early, being tired from traveling. Soon after an alarm was screaming through out the hotel. Absolutely no explanation nor advice. My husband went to the desk for information. He came back & told me it was a real fire on our floor & we had to evacuate. I wrapped the comforter around myself & exited the building. Upon reentering, I asked the same person at the desk for a replacement comforter. I understood she had reports to write & was busy. She said she would sent one up. I later saw her on our floor. Again I asked for a comforter. Never arrived. She later called our room to say there we NO clean comforters to give us? NO clean comforters? Hard to believe when there were few cars in the parking lot, yet she told my husband the hotel was sold out. I was uncomfortable & wasn't able to sleep.I also mentioned that the soap tube by the sink in the bathroom was empty & off the wall. She said she'd send someone up to fix it. That never happened. We were booked for two nights.The next morning when Persephone was on duty, I mentioned my displeasure with the poor (no) service we received the night before. She IMMEDIATELY went to closet & gave me a clean comforter and the bag with two bottles of water we were NOT given at check in. Persephone was everything the person the night before wasn’t. We have always been very happy with ..

I felt like I was staying at a modern youth hostel. No amenities for grown ups like coffee maker in room, water glasses/cups, microwave etc. If I wanted to have to get up, get dressed, take an elevator and walk down a hallway at 4:30am when I get up for work I would have stayed somewhere else

I have learned to book a room with two beds and as far away from Vestal Parkway as possible. That made my stay very enjoyable. The room was spacious and quiet. Typical hotel breakfast eggs and sausages, but there is yogurt, oatmeal, fruit and hard boiled eggs, which I appreciated.

The conditioner and heat machine they make noise all the time every 5 minutes. Also the noise and voice for others room you can hear clearly. Breakfast is very poor. Room is very small like motel room. No closet. N
