LOVED ITTT had suchhhh a good time !!! Go to coco bongo when they offer it at the pool!! The day party is so fun great margaritas and I had an avalanche!! Get the Mexican candy shots at the bar! The parties they throw are fun and free fave paint just felt like I was in paradise there only complaint is the food the breakfast is realllyy good and they have a lot of options some things just tasted very different but other than that 10/10

I liked that the property was in walking distance to downtown where the clubs and restaurants are located. I have stayed at many Riu properties and the food at the Riu Cancun was better than most. The entertainment was enjoyable and the staff were friendly. The beach had little seaweed because the staff were cleaning it daily. I would go back again.

Overall I had a good time on the property. The activities were kept me engaged and the staff was very friendly. However the rooms definitely need an upgrade the bathroom and room decor are outdated. My biggest issue was with my room key. I constantly had to go to guest services for them to reset it because it wouldn’t open my door.
