This is a review for the 2 bedroom villa with private pool. The villa is located nextdoor to the hotel and is serviced by the lovely hotel staff every second day. The villa was clean, fully stocked with kitchen crockery, pots pans etc except cutlery, and also had a washing machine located in the bathroom upstairs. The down stairs bedroom is very small and does not have a door. Suitable for a child, however the villa has stairs to the second floor with out any railing which I would not recommend with young kids or if you have mobility issues (or had too many drinks) Lovely outdoor undercover seating area. The location was quiet and a short 5 minute walk to restaurants and shopping. Over all we enjoyed our stay.

Karmagali boutique suites are an Oasis in Sanur. From the moment you arrive you feel a sense of calm. The rooms are wonderful and the staff couldn't have been more lovely. The went over and above to make my stay memorable. The location is a short walk from the main street and beach and in close proximity to many restaurants, bars and the new shopping centre. My stay was everything I hoped it would be and more. I cannot wait to go back. Thank you to all the lovely staff at Karmagali :-)

This stay went above and beyond my expectations. The villa was absolutely charming, and my room even had its own outdoor space—it was spacious, peaceful, and very private. The staff were outstanding: warm, helpful, and attentive. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. While there’s no on-site restaurant, meals are served directly to your terrace, and dinner needs to be ordered a day in advance. That said, there are plenty of great dining options nearby. Overall, I would highly recommend this beautiful villa.

This is a very small, quiet property with beautiful rooms and excellent service. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel, which was served on our patio. The food was delicious, and it was so nice to have it brought right to our room. The hotel is a short 10-minute walk to the beach, which has a nice walkway and lots of cafes to stop for a drink and look at the ocean. There were nice shops and restaurants in the area as well. The hotel arranged for airport pick-up and a driver to various sites in Bali. We also highly recommend the massage services - much appreciated after a long flight. If we return to Bali, we will definitely go back to Karmagali!

Magnifique endroit. Le personnel est au petit soin. La propreté est À+. Vous pouvez-vous faire tout à pied mais l’endroit offre des vélos gratuitement. En fin d’après-midi vous avez droit à un service de thé et café avec biscuits. Les déjeuners sont servi à l’heure que vous voulez directement à votre chambre. Ils sont délicieux !

7 nights - Unassuming set up, with such a peaceful ambience, in contrast to the bustling Bali traffic. The staff are exceptional & make this place special, generous meals & magical spa treatments (with Uli). Sanur is a great option for somewhere quieter, yet all you need. Highly recommend for some great R&R. Stand outs - Yopi, Lilly, Putu, Tara and team. Suksma.

Quiet exclusive villab by with nice rooms

Lovely rooms with classy finishes and toiletries. Small but nice pool, great landscaping. Manager on site Putu was friendly and accommodating. Only negatives were no bottled water, no coffee/tea sachets provided until we requested specifically. Also a hit overpriced for a place about 10 mins walk to beach given that for same price we could easily have stayed on the beach with breakfast included.

Karmagali Suites was lovely... excellent quiet location. Beach was an easy 5 minute ride with the hotel’s complimentary bikes. The staff were lovely and helpful. Dewi even found some aloe vera from the garden to soothe my surnburn. I would highly recommend Karmagali.

Beautiful property. Slice of paradise. I would stay again. I had a lovely room. Extremely clean and great, characterful space (as opposed to characterless chain hotels in the area potentially). The toiletries were wonderful- especially the insect repellant made up from essential oils. The breakfasts were superlative and served in your private outdoor area. Very lovely. The location is fine... but it is about a good 15 minute walk from the beach. Don’t take the short cut that the staff recommended to me on my first day there. Stick to the main roads. If you are walking home in the dark, take a torch/keep your phone torch accessible as the road gets very dark at night in places. On the down sides, It was quite near to a fairly noisy road when I requested a tranquil room in my initial requests (I live next to a busy road in a city and was looking for some peace). To compensate, the staff arranged a free massage and it was wonderful, I have to say. I found the service at the hotel variable depending on the member of staff I spoke to. Best keep tabs on any requests you make (e.g for taxis etc.) to ensure they have actually been made. Also, I think you need to be fairly direct in asking for staff opinions of local services. They are discreet and will not necessarily voice opinions openly- a bit of a double edged sword if you booked a service (e.g island tour) and then had a terrible time, only to find out the staff knew! Very frustrating.

Stunning boutique establishment in a central location (short walk to the main walking street & beach). Beautiful rooms in lush and gorgeous garden surrounds. Delicious food and the most lovely & accommodating owners & staff they couldn't have been more helpful. Highly recommend this hotel absolutely perfect in every way - do yourself a favour and stay here!
