Auto check-in after a long journey with luggage (traveling for a month is unusual) and stressful drive with off site parking is not welcoming. Having to juggle baggage, keys, parking tickets and then enter your details yourself and make your own key might be efficient for the hotel but insulting to guests. The parking discount is only helpful if you don’t take the car out for 24 hours. Our ticket for the final day didn’t work and we had to go back for a replacement. And wait for someone else having a similar issue. Then there was the heating - which couldn’t be controlled in the room. We had to ask the from desk to turn off the air conditioning in January. Unworkable in the room. But the front desk line is always busy so you have to go in person. Staff is nice enough when you can find them. Bar and restaurant staff are excellent.
