Olet kävelyetäisyydellä monista nähtävyyksistä, ravintoloista / baareista ja kaupoista! Naapurissa on jopa lentopallohiekkakuoppa! Lyhyt kävelymatka noin 2 korttelin päässä Farmer's Market & Kona Inn -ostoskylästä ja noin 4 korttelin päässä Hulihe'en palatsista ja kuuluisan Iron Man-kilpailun alkamisesta. Päivän jälkeen tutkittuasi kaiken, mitä Big Islandilla on tarjota, tule kotiin rentoutumiseen - istu Lanalla suosikkihengellä kädessä, kuuntele valtameren aaltojen kaatumista katsellen ihmisiä, kenties delfiinejä ja valaita Lahti ja todista hengättäväisin auringonlasku päivän loppumiseksi.

Where to start. This place was amazing. Brett and Dianne have thought of everything for this condo. My wife and I stayed from 11/5 - 11/14/2025 to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We arrived and stopped at Costco on the way to stock up. Then proceeded to the condo, where via shopping carts between the parking garage and the elevators we got everything up to the top floor. All instructions were clear, the place was immaculate, and we were immediately struck by the spaciousness of the place and the view from the lanai. Our hosts had macadamia nuts next to the binder that explained everything you would need to know about the place, including how to use the remote controls, deal with the trash, and suggested activities. The kitchen had virtually anything you would need, was appointed with the nicest appliances I've every used. The Laundry room had high end front load washer/dryer with clear instructions tapped to the front. The bedrooms, Master and Loft had high thread count sheets and bedding, TVs mounted on the walls, split A/C systems, and all the amenities you would expect in a 5 star hotel. My favorite place became the lanai. We could sit at the high top table and watch the dolphins and swimmers in the bay with the binoculars/telescope, eat our meals, or sit in the reclining chairs and have a cocktail all while listening to our favorite Pandora station (Chris Rea Radio) on the Sonos speakers. We highly recommend this place. 10/10.

Our stay here was amazing. The unit had everything we needed from cooking to beach supplies. The view from the lanai was breath taking. Restaurants and shops were right below us and we were only a couple minutes away from the snorkeling adventures we had. We will definitely stay here again if we come in the future.

Great communication with owners.Cons: Tight parking for larger trucks/SUVs, loud vehicle engines/music in street below periodically interrupt tranquility, minor maintenance issues with blinds/patio door locks. Pre-cooling unit prior to check-in would be nice.

We had an incredible experience at this beautifully decorated condo in Kona! The location was ideal—close to everything yet peaceful and relaxing. The lanai was our favorite spot, offering stunning sunset views and a refreshing breeze every evening. The owner was exceptionally responsive and made sure everything was perfect throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better home base for our Hawaiian adventure. Highly recommend!

Wow, loved this place! Very clear directions on getting to the unit and how to access the property. The condo was exceptionally clean and well stocked. Having all the beach toys and accessories really came in handy too. If you’re staying in Kailua-Kona this is the best location, close to tourist shops but also regular grocery stores. 100% recommend!

This was the perfect choice for our vacation. The condo was comfortable and clean, with plenty of room for everyone to unpack and relax. With the reserved parking spot, fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, and wi-fi we had everything we needed to live comfortably and come and go easily. The location is an easy walk to some great restaurants and shopping. The closet full of beach supplies was especially helpful for our trips to the beach. When we were not out exploring the island, we especially loved sitting on the lanai enjoying the views and sounds of the ocean. The only thing better than a great condo? Wonderful owners. We reached out with a couple of questions, and found the owners to be responsive and helpful. They went above and beyond in providing us with some great tips about favorite beeches, dining, and other activities on the island. Thanks for helping make this a fantastic vacation for my family.

View from the condo is just amazing!! You can sit on the lanai for hours!! The condo is very clean and a perfect fit for our family. Convenient to shops & restaurants, can easily travel to all sides of the island, and provides all of the amenities needed for the beach.

Beautiful Condo

This is a really nice property. Nice layout on the main floor and a huge loft with a California king bed, a 55” TV and a refrigerator. Nice touches include an air printer for printing with your devices and a terrific smart TV with hundreds of channels and dozens of apps, allowing you to sign in with your credentials to watch from your playlists.The view is fantastic with a full ocean view and a very nice lanai. The loft has a mountain lanai overlooking the pool area.The owners are a dream to work with. Very helpful and accommodating. Only drawbacks are minor. The parking space is a bit tight. I would recommend nothing larger than an intermediate sized vehicle. Also, while oceanfront property, Ali’i Drive is between the condo building and the water and there are bars nearby, both of which create noise that is sometimes annoying.All in all, I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Amazing stay

We had an amazing stay at the Punahele Penthouse. The view and ocean sounds from the lanai were incredible. The condo is in a perfect location to explore Kona and the island. The condo is stocked with everything you would ever need, including beach gear. The condo is cared for by the owners, we felt so welcome it was like we were renting from family. Thank you again, Diane and Brett, we can’t wait to return.

Great Vacation

We had a wonderful stay in the condo. The view was great, space was clean and plentiful! Really enjoyed the slowed down atmosphere of Kona and did a ton of exploring the island with this as our home base.

Amazing trip

I was very lucky to have found this condo! My mom lived in Kona for 30 years and we come back to visit. Two years ago we stayed at another condo which was lovely, but small. We took a chance on something different and so glad we did. They thought of everything at this condo!! Anything we needed they had. Any question we had they got back right away. The location can’t be beat, in the middle of Alii. I recommend this property to everyone!!

Best location in Kona!

Amazing views from this condo! We loved sitting on the balcony overlooking the water and just listening to the waves. The spotting scope was great for observing all the boat/swimmer traffic in the bay. Thouroughly enjoyed out stay.

Wonderful stay

We recently stayed for 2 weeks at this awesome 7th floor penthouse. The views off the 1st floor balcony ar breath taking. I sat many mornings drinking coffee and just staring at the water. Unfortunately there are a ridiculous amount of homeless people that stay along the waters edge right below the building across the street. Some pros about this condo is it was very clean and completely stocked with everything you'd need, even down to reusable grocery bags, and the location was perfect. There were a couple of small things that I feel could make this place even better. One very inconvenient thing was there were not glass or microwaveable plates to reheat leftovers. Also the coffee maker would shut off after brewing the pot and then the coffee would get cold quickly. We would try turning it back on to warm coffee but it would quickly shut off. This may have been user error, but irritated my husband to no end bc he drinks lots of coffee. The one other thing is the dryer. It took forever to dry a load and I mean 2-3 hours just for one cycle and then sometimes a second cycle was needed. I put the settings as the directions stated and it still took forever. We'd get home from a late day and I'd wash clothes, but if we needed beach towels again for the next day, I'd have to stay up super late or set my alarm to wake me back up to restart the dryer if needed. Not ideal when wanting to rest on vacation. Overall the pros completely outweigh cons and I would suggest staying here.
