"Viihtyisä hotelli kauniilla paikalla. Siisti huone ja iso parveke. Aamiaishuoneesta oli hienot näkymät. Moottoripyörälle parkki hotellin vieressä. Ystävällinen rouva vastaanotossa, vaikka yhteistä kieltä ei ollutkaan.
Ensimmäisen aamun aamupalalta oli kaikki loppu, niin astiat kuin ruuatkin, niitä tuotiin yksitellen pyynnöstä lisää ja pöydät siivoamatta. Liekö henkilöstövajetta vai mitä, mutta toisena aamuna pöytä oli täynnä kauniisti aseteltuina."
