My stay at Pensao Londres in Lisbon was incredible, and the hospitality was beyond anything I could have expected. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and perfectly located near all the major attractions. However, it was the staff that truly made my experience unforgettable.
I want to give a special shoutout to Alex Anger, who is an incredibly kind and helpful young gentleman. He not only gave me a personalized list of places to visit in Lisbon but also made me feel instantly welcome. His positive energy and calm demeanor, especially when I saw him wearing a rosary in his hand, brought a peaceful vibe to the whole experience.
During my stay, we experienced a blackout in Europe, and I was understandably nervous as I had to fly back to New York the next day. Many airports were closed or canceled, but Nunes (I guess thats his name who worked on 04/28th night) made me feel completely at ease. He kept me informed about the situation, offered food and coffee, and checked in on me regularly to ensure I was okay. I was so impressed by his kindness and calm in the face of a challenging situation.
What stood out even more was how Nunes helped other guests. He was carrying luggage up to the 4th floor since the escalators weren’t working due to the power outage. He also helped people find their way using a flashlight, ensuring everyone felt taken care of. His dedication and helpfulness went above and beyond — it was a perfect example of what genuine hospitality looks like.
