Excellent older hotel, excellent location. Friendly staff. Not a lot of frills. Only complaint was the bed - both small and as hard as a park bench. Seriously it was painful and appears to be just a box spring on a wood platform.

The room was not clean enough. There were hairs on the bed. In the middle of the night the room was flooded through the air conditioner due to rain. I had to switch my room. Also I couldn't receive and invoice neither from hotel nor from hotels.com. Thanks to them, i can't be reimbursed. So if you are planning to stay there for official purposes, i don't recommend this plase.

The property was advertised as having a roof top bar plus having breakfast: neither was available. The WiFi was unstable as to be non existent. Location was not close to any sites of interest. The staff was EXTREMELY nice, helpful and pleasant, but still not enough to overcome the deficiencies of the property itself.

The front desk service was excellent . They were always wollong to help. I had an issue with charging my phone and the friendly feont desk person helped by allowing me to charge the phone at the reception area. The area has great dining and beautiful parks and gardens.

The name is just perfect for the hotel's location

This a wonderful, cosy, very quiet and clean boutique hotel in the middle of Belem, located between Monastery and the Presidential Palace.

Such a strange hotel, unless I missed something while booking it. It's great, nice spacious room. But there's nothing in it at all. And I didn't see anyone working there aside from single receptionist. Just a bed and TV in the room. Nothing else. Not even a glass of water or anything else. I wasn't expecting much. I know it's a 2 star hotel. But it's in a good location and room is clean. So I guess ok if thats what you need.
