Nice hotel in a lovely location. Good value given location. I paid for a room upgrade which was meant to provide a superior room with a view. I had a view of the rail road, which was a bit noisy from early hours

Disappointing

Although checked in on line night before and confirmed with a phone call, at the check in desk they only 1 room booked for us. Although we showed them the booking evidence it took an hour for their reservation department to agree to give us another room. Although the receptionist was polite her management team gave her no helo and no authority to give us a room.very frustrating and disappointing. After arriving in good time to get ready for an evening out we were left rushed with just 20 minutes to get ready

Great location and comfortable hotel

The hotel is very conveniently located and all the staff are charming and helpful. The rooms are a good size and the beds comfortable. I always stay here when in London and highly recommend the hotel.

Have stayed in this Hotel for over 20 years. It has become runned down, cold and rigid in its approach to customer service and soulless. Employees are friendly but probably agency workers. I am a millennium member and Expedia still beats their member pricing , sad Never staying with them again

My Stay was comfortable. The room was clean and neat. My only problem was the external noise of the trains. Next time I will book a room facing the front of the building.

Sadly our room was very tatty & tired! As we were on the 12th floor all of the windows were sealed shut but we did have a AC unit which sort of worked. The fridge was very noisy so we had to turn it off at night. The bathroom was quite dirty with a toilet seat that was too small for the actual toilet!! Breakfast was served in a dark, unwelcoming room and very chaotic, the hot food was luke warm and unappetising. We won’t be staying here again

A huge hotel, inside is lovely

From the outside, the main building looks pretty shabby, but inside, it's really nice. Everything clean and in good order. Nice bar/restaurants. It's a massive hotel, so by 0730, the main breakfast area was very busy, but it was well run, plenty of options, friendly staff. If you want a quiet boutique hotel, this isn't the place for you, but if you want something affordable, clean, nice facilities, decent breakfast and you don't mind a somewhat austere looking exterior (which I don't) then I recommend it. Excellent location too
