My experience was not bad. I was missing a fan and my bed was too small therefore, I didn’t sleep comfortably. The staff made my experience good. They will quickly assistance with any issue. The area is safe and walkable to visit some of London attractions. The dorms do feel hot. I would recommend solo travelers to check this place out.

Students dorms with no A/C so it can be a bit crazy during the summer, just a small fan. The room is small but comfortable and the location is very good. When checking in, two employees were insulting each other and it was a bit uncomfortable. Check out was fast and easy

Perfect for a trip to the Proms. We weren’t in the room much as we were off exploring and as such, it had everything we really needed. It was very clean and the staff were great.

Avoid - rip off

Huge queue at 2pm as no one was allowed to check in before. Then lots of people started cutting in line and no staff stopped them. Room was boiling - small fan, small window and unable to cool room. No air con. Mattress lumpy and cheap - with springs digging into back. Cleaners noisy outside room. For £96 I would never book again - it's sub-standard student digs. Will get comfy premier inn or similar WITH air con short tube ride away. Woke up following day knackered from poor sleep and massive headache from heat.

Solo travelers my first night was lots of noise going it might be kids all partying but didn’t bother me. I had a small room that is all I needed.clean and comfortable towels and linens are all new and clean.they pick up garbage everyday and clean my room.easy access to All restaurants transportation and everything else.i feel safe and one of the front this I forget her name she walk me to the Kensington station cause I was hesitant to walk alone because it was still a little early and dark for my safety i asked if it safe to walk around she said yes it’s very safe she told me to just go straight the train station is so nearby but she offered to walk me there all the way to the station.i was so grateful that she has the time to walk me there cause i was alone and worried for my safety.i wish I didn’t forget her name but if she read this she will remember who i was.im grateful for her time and help me to get to the train station and made me on time for my tour.and after that i was able to get to the station without having problem.very safe area for a solo traveler.

Do not stay at this dorm. it is not a hotel it’s literally a dorm that is not clean and barely has anything. there was no AC which is common but it barely had any other amenities. The location was pretty good it was by 2 museums and a train station that is about 9 min walk. I would never stay there again tho

The staff was very helpful and accommodating! We had an issue with the toilet flush, and it was addressed properly. The meal ticket was also adjusted to include both my cousin and me. That was very much appreciated! Everyone was very kind and the room was very comfortable! Excellent location! Thank you!

So close to the Albert Hall

I have stayed at Princes Gardens several times when attending the BBC PROMS at The Albert Hall. It is only a step or two away and the little park it overlooks makes for a pleasant place to sit if you have time
