This is an excellent hotel. The location is perfect for access to Mayfair and Hyde Park. Our room (the executive suite ) was spacious and a great view. The staff was friendly and attentive. The only negatives were that the electric sockets would not hold our adapters. The beds were a bit soft. The heater made the room too hot so we didn’t run it. The bathroom had a bad odor. They fixed this (without us asking) by putting on a hidden fan that ran the whole time. We didn’t use the restaurant because there are several good ones in the area. Try Les Filles a block away. You won’t be disappointed-for breakfast or lunch.

The staff were very friendly and responsive and the overall ambience was very good. However, there were two issues. First, the room safe did not work, but someone came and removed and replaced it promptly so that was easily resolved. The more aggravating problem was that the room was under heated and the en-suite bathroom was not heated at all (in February). After asking the manager for assistance, he stated that the thermostat was switched to an energy savings setting. He overrode that and we were able to heat the room, but next morning the maid put it back on energy savings so it cooled right down again by the time we came back. The freezing cold bathroom made showering unpleasant.

The hotel was lovely, staff very welcoming, booked a superior room which was small but nice and had everything we needed. A nice refreshing drink on arrival was a nice surprise and the breakfast although not included in the room rate was very good value and delicious.

New Home in Paddington

I stay in Paddington when I come to London because it is convenient for the Heathrow Express. This was my first stay at Roseate House and it will be the only place I stay in the future. The hotel itself is lovely. Great sitting area and bar - comfortable with quiet elegance. Wine menu is excellent. Food menu and food itself also excellent. The room was great. Has everything you need, exceptionally clean, very comfortable bed. But what makes this hotel is its staff - the reception, management, doorman, restaurant and bar service - each and every person made this home for me. I stayed 19-21 December 2024 and the owners should know how fortunate they are to have collected such an incredible group of individuals to represent them. I thank them the most for my stay and look forward to hopefully seeing them again soon upon my return. I highly recommend this hotel.

This was my third stay, and the wonderful young lady who checked me in very kindly upgraded my room to an executive king. I had a lovely stay- the bed is probably the most comfortable I have ever slept in. I really love this hotel, and will stay here any time I visit London. The staff are very gracious and professional. It is also conveniently located to Paddington, but on a quiet street.
