The setting of the hotel is marvellous very well decorated, bedroom nice and the staff were terrific. Right next to hyde Park and easy bus ride into city. Will be going again

had a great stay , room was fine , very quiet safe area near paddington and Hyde park , Queensway an bayswater tube just a little stroll away , what can I say lovely staff , plenty of selection at breakfast , slept well , very clean.

El buffet del desayuno tiene pocas opciones El internet no llega a todas las áreas La primera noche tuvimos un problema con nuestra tarjeta de banco y nos dejaron entrar sin problema, El segundo día la energía eléctrica de la habitación falló y no había calefacción ni televisión ni nada… No es la habitación que está en la imagen … esperábamos una cama grande como la foto pero nos dieron dos camas como esta en la descripción

AVOID Whole property didn't have hot water during the Christmas period. Mattresses were worn out. The property has potential but it's neglected and poorly managed. Staff needs training on professionalism and communication (only Ali and another staff member were great and genuinely trying to help, but clearly this is a bigger problem than they can handle). We weren't informed about the hot water issue upon check-in, we were only informed after we asked why there's no hot water in the shower the next day. Upon check-in on Christmas eve, receptionist told us that breakfast on Christmas day would close at 11am but we were turned away in the restaurant when we showed up at 10:15 saying that they already closed. I asked the same receptionist if he could ask the restaurant to prepare something light and he told me he will check and get back to me. He never got back to me. Funny note: I was trying to call reception from the phone in the room by pressing the reception button but kept getting connected with another resident in the hotel who was complaining about the hot water, we laughed at how this hotel is a joke. Due to the hot water situation, we checked-out a day early but hotel management is refusing to issue a refund for the last night of the booking.

This stay was for one night only with my wife and our two children (ages 9 and 2). The main bed was acceptable; however, both my wife and I woke up feeling very itchy. The second bed provided for the children was in very poor condition. It was extremely wobbly and felt as though it might collapse, which was concerning for our children’s safety. Additionally, the fridge was not working. We also noticed that the carpet around the base of the fridge was lifted, and there were small jumping insects present, which was very unpleasant and unhygienic. Not a 4 star hotel

The room had marks all over the walls, the celling was falling apart, there was spot stickers stuck to the wall in bathroom, there was a step into the bathroom that wasn’t clearly signed.

Clean room, but several basic issues made the stay disappointing Although the hotel has a pleasant exterior and the receptionist was welcoming, several avoidable issues left us disappointed with our stay. At check-in, we did not receive any basic information about check-out procedures, breakfast options (even though we had not booked breakfast), or how to access the Wi-Fi. The receptionist was friendly and helpful whenever we asked questions, but it felt more like a training issue — she seemed unsure about what information to provide proactively. While her attitude was excellent, the overall experience lacked the level of professionalism we expected. When we arrived in the room, there was again no information provided. One of the toilet flush mechanisms did not work properly and continued running unless it was hit hard, which is something that should be addressed during routine maintenance. The room was also quite cold on arrival (only 19°C), and although we eventually worked out the thermostat, it did not create a warm first impression. The biggest frustration was the Wi-Fi. I could connect in the reception area but not in our room, despite the booking confirming that free Wi-Fi was included. We had to return to reception for the correct login details — again highlighting the lack of basic communication — but even with the corrected information, the Wi-Fi still did not work in the room.
