Easy to get around and when I went for the post Malone concert it’s only a 20 minute walk to the met stadium or one stop on the subway. Staff was very respectful and responsive to any issue that occurred

Stayed at the John Hotel because I was going to 3 NY Mets baseball games and it was an easy 20 minute walk to the Stadium. The hotel was relatively new and it was clean and neat and they offered a free continent breakfast. The staff was friendly and answered whatever questions you asked them.

Stay Away from The John!!

When you arrive there is literally no way to enter with your car to unload or check in. You have to drive around in circles for hours to get a spot to unload. The staff won’t help you at all. I’m disabled and had to use a broke cart through a door I had to hold open To bring into the street to load my suitcase on and try to maneuver it myself inside. There was no parking so I had to then park and walk back to the hotel with a lung problem in the wind and an injured hip. $219 was absurd for this stay. The sheets or bedding must have been dirty or something because my daughter woke up with a swollen eye. Within 30 minutes the eye closed and it spread to the second eye. She had to go to the hospital but the traffic was so bad she had to get out of the $100 uber and walk to the nearest urgent care. There is a John Hotel van on the property but they won’t use it to help customers in need. If you question them, they get loud and obnoxious. One Asian man was very rude at my check-in and did not care about my disability. The toilets don’t flush either. Please pick another place.
