The Spa at this hotel is wonderful, with an excellent water circuit. I had a massage that was the best I've ever had in any hotel I've stayed at.

Location is excellent, close to the beach and to the main restaurent and shopping strip. The pool was a bit small and can be crowded, but ok overall. The breakfast was very good with lots of variety. Only two minor complaints, there is no short term parking to check-in if you are arriving by vehicle. You have to check-in before you enter the garage, a bit inconvenient. Book the garage in advance it, is small and can fill up quickly. The other issue is the elevator, they only have 2 slow elevators so be readyto wait. I used the stairs most of the time to go up and down 5 floors, not a major issue, but you have to be patient.

It a excellent hotel - enjoyed very much - it is what we need for our R&R. Loved the Spa facilities. Everything i.e. Beach, nearby Restaurant are excellent and enjoyed daily inc boat rise to the caves and seen Dolphins. I'm marking this hotel for our next visit if we are making plan to visit Algarve again.

First room we were given was 'cute' but not as per the pictures or expectations. Having been to this hotel 6 times I was aware there were rooms with better sea views for the money, and also with showers rather than a shower over the bath, difficult to get in to and unexpected. Basically the pictures shown on Expedia for the room type was 'false' advertising as the room we were given was not as per the photos. We upgraded, but discussions with management on the room given initally left a sour taste. Room and view is very important to us hence as we can't guarentee what room in a certain 'category of room' we will be given, sadly we will not be staying at Hotel Jupiter again or recomending to friends and family as we have been doing. Overall, during our time we have spent here, the hotel has gone downhill and isn't as 'special' as it once was. The beds are still comfortable though and most of the staff friendly, but there are other hotels in the area we will be trying out instead.

Walking distance to beach and restaurants. I was under the impression that parking was included. When we got there I was informed that I hadn't purchased it and there was no parking until end of August. When i booked no parking option was seen. I believe that parking should be included since hotel is not cheap.

Very difficult to get to the hotel since you need a code to get to the front lobby. No parking available for guests when checking in. No air conditioning in lobby! Property was just ok. Good luck on having the front desk handle any issues with your reservation. Will not stay here again.
